It had everything decor wise that you would expect in a craft bar, wood finishes, chalkboards, etc. The beer on offer was great, they had about ten options from a mix of Brewers and about 8 from brewdog. Nobody spoke much English but we managed to communicate fine and got a cracking IPA that went down a treat after a long day of travelling. Food wise we had some lovely French sausage and bread. It went perfect with the beer and was just what we were looking for. Can't recommend this place enough.

Tapas menu has about twenty choices - most of which are seafood. We had the pulpos (octopus), Gambas (shrimps), board of chorizo, and fried calamari with a lemony aioli. The Gambas were exceptional, highly recommend. Octopus was perfectly acidic with a good texture. Calamari were a little different than we are used to the U.S. -- not crispy at all, lightly coated with a fine encrustation of farina- perhaps corn flour. Chorizo in Europe is astoundingly good and sliced to such a perfect thinness. No room for dessert after these four plates. Prices are good (€5-9 per tapas plate). Wine by the glass €3-5. Recommend.

I visited Point Rouge tonight with three friends: two of us were British and two were American. The food and wine were both delicious, beautiful, and beyond reproach. However, the service failed to meet the standards the kitchen had established. Although the restaurant was far from full on a Monday night, we consistently waited much longer than every other table for every course, every glass of water, and every drop of wine. Determined to enjoy ourselves anyway, we watched several tables order crêpes Suzette, which were prepared tableside with great pageantry (several diners videoed the preduction), so we ordered them, too. But we were the only table who had our crêpes delivered cold without the tableside drama. I took one frosty bite and retired my fork, and when the waiter asked if there was something wrong with my crêpes, I told him I was disappointed not to have had them prepared tableside. He laughed and took my plate away. We were all charged full price anyway, and I might just mention here that the bill for four of us totaled €288. I am very sorry not to be able to recommend a restaurant with such wonderful food, but of course inferior service can destroy any meal. I cannot prove that the service we received was related that we weren't French, but by the time we left, it certainly felt that way. I might also mention that the toilets are quite...unusual. The doors are clear glass until you enter and lock the door, when they become opaque. However, there is no sign or other indicator that this will happen, so it looks for all the world as though you will be using the toilet in full view of everyone who walks by. I found this to be a very odd, almost cruel, décor decision.
