After a day out in Strasbourg, we wanted a fun new restaurant to celebrate a birthday. A brief…read moresearch brought up Brasserie Michel Debus. We made reservations for 6:30 PM for our large group.
The restaurant is trendy in its decor and vibe, with high ceilings and an industrial chic feel. The server was attentive throughout the meal and made sure that we had full carafes of water whenever we needed them.
I wanted a lighter entree and went for the beef carpaccio. It was an even larger serving than I had anticipated and tasted very good. The pesto serve over it tasted fresh, and the small side salad and French fries rounded out the meal.
No birthday is complete without dessert, and I opted for Creme brûlée. I was not disappointed - creamy, sweet, and with the perfect crunchy top layer, it hit my sweet tooth just right.
