Not the absolutely worst Indian food I've ever had but it's a very close second. The servers seemed…read moredisinterested and couldn't care less if we stayed or left. But being hungry and loving Indian food, we gave it a try. The food arrived and looked as welcoming as the staff--blah. Bland, terrible presentation, service, what service? Hungrier than I was frustrated, we ate the food and left. In retrospect, I should have fasted until dinner. Gandhi must mean terrible because that's what this experience was. The only reason it garnered a star is because there isn't an option to put the poop emoji.

Server was seating down on chair. First he look at clock and then reply, yes open. I get on chair and other server came up with manu and 3 type souce. I take few minutes and place an order for Chiken jalfrazy / Chiken Biriyani / Garlic nan and Mango Lassi Honestly Garlic nan was very good but chiken was over cooked and chuvy. Biriyani wasnt bad. Mango Lassi was very watery. Fun part is They have complimentary Papadam. I have notice that 15 minute later second customer came up, server place a plate with Papdam on their table. 5 minute later another customer came, server pace plate of Papdam on their table. Now I'm thinking why they didn't serve me complimentary Papdam? Why? Finally I ask my server, why this different service? He reply . OH you want Papdam? I was almost done with my dinner by then. I look for quality of food and service I think if ur dying for Indian food then still more restaurant in town to try out Not a good experience.

I've eaten at Le Palais du Maharadja in Chaville on several occasions while on holiday in France…read moreover the last month and I haven't been disappointed. We chose this Restaurant due to its walking-distance proximity to where we're staying in Chaville. As lovers of Indian food, finding ourselves staying near this restaurant was in a small way serendipitous. They've treated our children well and were very patient with my not-very-advanced French, and they have even been willing to speak some English, though from my perspective it's better to force me to get by badly in French than communicate easily in English, as I learn much more that way. However for most natives of the Anglosphere this will be a good thing indeed as we are spoiled by the sheer number of people who speak our language abroad, which we do not often reciprocate. The food has always been good though never great. Perhaps it's a different or even more authentic style of cooking Indian food (I claim ignorance on this point) but I've found it lacking in a certain sweetness I find in most other other Indian cooking, but this is a very minor complaint. The Cheese Nan is excellent, which the kids find to be very tasty. We've sampled Butter Chicken, various dishes of lamb, and I believe a chicken or lamb Punjab which was excellent. One word of warning, if you have more than one young child, you may want to consider splitting one Menu Enfant rather than ordering one for each - the amount of food on one plate is enormous. We fed all three with one Menu Enfant. They also do doggie bags, which I find endearing in a land where this generally looked down upon. I must confess not understanding why it is better to throw food away than eat it later though, so my compliments for going against the grain on this one. I do recommend Le Palais du Maharadja.

Came here after an exhausting day of walking and biking around Versailles. Since the food at…read moreVersailles was overpriced and they did not allow outside food to be brought into the palace we opted for some Indian food before taking the train back to Paris. We thought it must be a good place since the restaurant was pretty full when we walked past it. For a group of 6, we shared the garlic and herb Naan, fish tikka masala, chicken tikka masala, cheese paneer, and butter chicken. The waiter recommended on ordering two more entrees since we were a party of 6 but we wanted to see if it was enough food. However, the restaurant closes 2:30pm so whatever we ordered should suffice. We ordered king fisher and that was delivered pretty quickly. It was served in plastic king fisher cups. We asked for tap water and that didn't arrive into mid meal. He did hear us but was very slow about serving it. The Naan came out first and both looked the same on the outside. Inside had the different flavors with one bursting with a ton of garlic and the other not so great. The entrees came out next and were more like appetizer sizes. I can only imagine how small the appetizers would be. There were two pieces of fish for the fish tikka and three pieces of chicken for the chicken tikka. The butter chicken had more pieces but were smaller in size. Each has a lot of sauce which was decent but definitely not up to standard. Service sucked completely. Friend tried to come back to use the restroom after we left and the guy was pretty rude about it. He had to tell him he JUST ate here until he let him in. I guess since there is no requirement to tip in Europe the service fails but this was pretty crappy. If you pass by this going to or from Versailles then keep walking.

Food is good, but not great. The staff is excellent and they make every meal a pleasurable…read moreexperience.
