First up, no-one gets in past the patron without a valid passe sanitaire! Quite right too
Downstairs is the bar and general seating area; upstairs its jam-packed...no room for another table...popular or what; as one table emptied so it was re-laid and more people arrived
The menu is varied with many (mainly fishy) speciality dishes in addition...one of our friends couldn't resist the sea-snails...we couldn't resist not watching him...my partner had the moules marinieres, pronounced them very good; I had the bavette & shallots. I have to say that they did it well-done for me without raising an eyebrow - butterflied, but that's ok - and the shallots were more than perfect...they absolutely made the dish...best bavette I have ever had by a mile...yes, its a bit odd praising the shallots almost more than the steak...but with due cause!
4 of us, 2 eating 3 courses, several drinks, coffees, dessert inc tip €125...a steal
The patron doesn't say much and the staff are almost running to serve everyone, but its no wonder its full
