Being an American who speaks limited French my worry about going to a French salon was that i would come out with something completely different. The stylist was very skilled and very sweet. I received an awesome cut and color! Beautiful salon. An enjoyable experience all around. Reasonable high end prices. I'd recommend it especially for Americans.

This place is an absolute scam. I was looking to get a last moment trim while traveling and got to…read morethe street with lots of salons but most of them were booked. I saw a 5 star yelp review and walked into Francois-Xavier.. The salon was empty which I guess should've been a sign and the guy running it rushed me in and sat me down for the cut. He didn't speak any English and I show him a translation that I only needed a trim. He took out a buzzer (he doesn't use scissors) and chopped off a good chunk of my hair. I wasn't as upset about the cut as for the fact that he never once mentioned the price. Walking into it I knew it was a salon on the pricier side but I wasn't expecting to pay more than 80-100 euros but he ended up requesting 160!!! I was so shocked with the whole experience so I spoke to the businesses around his salon and all the local businesses mentioned that he is a total jerk and takes advantage of the tourist. He is a total scam artist. Please stay away from this place unless you are ready to pay 200euros. I went back to him to express my frustration and he got super aggressive and mentioned that he gave me a discount from 200 euros!!!! So basically he charges 200 euros for a hair buzz!

Installée sur un fauteuil importé du Japon - les japonais sont si perfectionnistes , attentifs au bien- être de leurs clients, qu'ils ont mis au point une méridienne avec un bac à shampooing intégré de manière à ce qu'on puisse rester allongé sans torticolis au moment du rinçage,je me sens parfaitement détendue. Francois-Xavier-Bertrand prépare ses mélanges sur mesure. Mes cheveux sont brillants, soignés, transformés. François-Xavier-Bertrand termine le soin par un séchage naturel on peut aussi enchainer avec un vrai brushing. Un moment de pur bonheur , dans un endroit d'exception .
