Not just your usual sports bar! A friend and I had a wonderful lunch there last week. I had a very…read morenice luncheon salad while my friend had ravioli stuffed with goat cheese in a light tomato sauce with shallots. The ravioli won the day! They were also garnished with cherry tomatoes that had been either flash roasted or sauteed and glazed with something neither of us could quite put our finger on. It wasn't the usual balsamic or honey. It was an incredible sweet/savory flavor that we'll never forget. We wanted to order up just a bowl of just those cherry tomatoes. Service was wonderful. Our waitress was as friendly as could be. Guys, be sure to check out the men's room. Mathieu Bastareaud will be giggling at you.

It's brand new and kicks ass (just like its team :P ) It's clean, trendy (go check out the bathrooms, you'll feel as though you are in a nightclub!), the waiters are rugbymen-like and very friendly, and it's not out of price. So if you happen to be shopping at Mayol (Toulon's main mall), go upstairs and walk outside where all the cafés are, Place Besagne, and have a "Noisette", it's my favorite, and it's good! Plus you'll be supporting a good cause, France's best rugby team!! CHEERS!! Que puis-je rajouter? Le café Place Besagne est nickel, il claque a 20 lieus et même sous les mers.
