The food here is extremely good. Most impressive was the Axoa. This is the special black pork that is cooked with green peppers and several spices. It comes with mashed potatoes, green salad and a spicy pepper sauce. This dish is a delicacy of Spain and I can see why. It had a slightly spicy taste with flavor that was intense and the pork was so tender. This is the best kept secret on the menu. I had a bottle of 2007 Chateau Pindefleurs which put this meal over the top. Finishing the meal I had a chocolate mousse and a glass of Sandeman Port wine. Another great selection from my waiter Oliver. This was one of the best meals I have had in years. Do not miss an opportunity to visit this restaurant if you are in the area. It is attached to a wonderful Quality Inn and Spa which also rounded out my stay. read more
