Just as well the 11th/12th century church was desaffectee en 1829" as some of the art was rather racy. It was a mixture of photography, painting and sculpture. Pieces were reasonably priced but I didn't see anything that I liked enough to purchase. Exhibitions continue throughout the summer here and the tourist office for this small and pleasant town is also located here.

This church is no longer used as a church, which, as an atheist, is my favorite kind of church. I…read morewas visiting the small town of Souillac when I stopped in to view a photo exhibition. The exhibition itself was pleasant if not wholly remarkable with a selection of colorful and pretty images (I appreciate when towns have nice events like this) and the interior of the building very characterful. It's definitely worth a look if you're in the town.
