I organized recently a lunch for my mother's birthday at the restaurant. We had 19 guests and I had to organize it from Houston (TX). The result was excellent, from the 1st contact via email to the event itself. The owner did respond very quickly to my email with a menu that was gastronomic and reasonable in term of pricing: 35 euro for cocktail, appetizer (smoked duck breast, foil gras), main course (nice thick veal steak with vegetables and mushroom), cheese (3 good size pieces) and salad, desert ( pear and chocolate cake). Wine was proposed as well but not included in the menu price. I did contact him to ask few questions and felt very quickly that I could trust him for my event. On the day of the event, a nice table was installed in the veranda, on the side of the main restaurant room, giving us some privacy and a very nice view on the garden and the landscape. The food was excellent, generous, nicely presented and the service very fast. The wine were excellent,well coordinated with the food. All the guests enjoyed it and we had a very nice celebration. The final invoice was aligned with the initial quote and we are already planning to come back for our next trip in Correze!
