I was sitting outside and he came out and asked if I needed another drink, when I said yes please, I followed it up with I have had a rough day. Don't know why I said it, maybe because I needed to vent. He returned with my drink and a kind gesture from the heart. I saw it as a quintessential part of the hospitality business. It's a genuine Irish pub insofar as it is owned by the one and only Peter Brady (ok, not the one and only, we've all seen the Brady Bunch), but this Peter is a real, live Irishman. Beer, liquor, even wine is served here. I've been told their food is good although I've rarely been in early enough to eat it. They have stacks of used books for your perusal along the back wall, and many games including the French Trivial Pursuit which has mercilessly stolen my pride on more than one occasion.
