Tonight we shared smoked salmon dredged in sugar and salt, cleaned off, and prepared with light herbs, cucumber, seaweed, and lemon. For the main course I had a specialty, Quimper, a dish of beautifully prepared shrimp with Gnocchi. My husband had a mixed shell fish, mussels, saithe , sea shrimps, tiny roasted potatoes, and sea fruit. For dessert we had coconut pana cota with Martinique rum soaked raisins and pineapple. To drink we split a bottle of local wine. Per usual, our dinner was a very special experience. I highly recommend Le Poisson Rouge . The vegetables on the side of dishware excellent. Bruschetta was an excellent highlight, very fresh, full of vegetables and delicious cheese, be sure to order this!!. My family drank the cucumber, mint beverage with lemonade. They loved it and we re create it at home now. All of the food I saw coming from the kitchen looked delicious. I was sorry I didn't order a burger, but as an American I try not to eat them anywhere in Europe unless its a true craving! I ordered a grilled vegetable platter with corn cakes. Everything on the platter was fantastic, especially the corn cakes which were divine.
