Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? 6,00 CHF for a cappuccino is maybe surprisingly reasonable for Lausanne, and every other menu item was equally reasonable on the price scale. Star. The coffee drinks were pretty upscale feeling and it felt that the barista put a lot of attention into making the drinks. I opted for just an Americano while my buddy had the Latte Macchiato. We were both very impressed with our drinks. I am usually not an Americano fan but I felt the coffee was flavorful and I would order another glass in a minute. The place feels less European and more American as it felt very modern but it still had it's Swiss/French touches. The barista is friendly and knows his thing and they have a selection of different preparation methods for you to choose from. The only downside is that this place has enough space to sit at most 8 people and only if they know each other very well. Two at the bar and six at a single table. The tea service is a great experience: your choice out of a large selection of teas or coffee, tasty finger sandwiches and scones, and a dessert buffet with so many choices, you'll have a difficult time deciding. And everything was delicious! As you would expect with this location, prices are high, but you're definitely getting a fantastic ambiance and excellent service.
