C'est l'un des plus anciens ports de la rade de Marseille. La première vocation de l'Estaque fut bien sûr la pêche, surtout la sardine et le thon. Installations : 13334 m2 de batis, un canal en eau salée 2 500m x 200m. Ce quartier de Marseille est devenu célèbre au travers des films de Robert Guédiguian, comme "Marius et Jeanette" en 1997.
