Most of the inside exhibitions are in the new black building that you can get to with a bridge connecting the fort to the building. It was a mix of history about the fort, Marseille, and the mediterranean. At the time I was here they had a special exhibition too. It did had an amazing view of the harbor and the sea!

Le bâtiment était complètement délabré, c'est-à-dire sale, vieux avec rien de la grandeur que les autres opéras en Europe en ont. Quel dommage. L'acoustique est terrible, les chaises sont vraiment inconfortables. Donne-elle la France rien comme financement à ses institutions culturelles..? Evitez le loge 30! J'ai presque oublié de dire: il n'y a rien à boire là--vous avez besoin de courir à un café pendant l'entracte très bref pour prendre un coup, si vous en voulez.
