I was considering dropping my review to 3 star after a recent visit, but on balance it isn't that bad. My favorite is the beef burger, but there are many other more traditional and the occasional fusion style choices along with the usual French fare. Casual atmosphere, great for friends or groups. They've also got a space out the back which I think you can book during the summer for groups.

Enjoyed a saturday night dinner here in February very much. beautiful presentation (see my pics on…read moreTA) and innovative compositions. Lovely short and fair-priced wine list. Enjoyed every item on the 85 euro menu which was the biggest available, but everything being served in the room appeared top notch. Highlights included onion sorbet with the cheeses and gentian sherbet on the "solar system" dessert. Some sauces perhaps a tad too creamy but certainly flavourful! An attractive venue.

When our meal finally got here (patrons seated after we were, received their dish ahead of us), it lacked the side salad I was told would come with my meal. The kids ravioles were grossly overcooked. Given how expensive the food was, I certainly expected better quality. When we ordered desserts, again our wait was much longer than anticipated and one of the kids ice cream was forgotten in the kitchen. The chocolate macaron was delicious. The service once again disappointed as we had to ask twice to receive our check. I would recommend going to "Chez le Per'Gras" instead if you would like to grab a bite to eat after riding the cable car.

Great atmosphere, in the style of an american brew pub, with all of the brewing equipment on show behind glass. The beer is good - with a selection of Blonde, Brune, Ambree and Blanche. I tried the Brune - and it was a good dark lager-style beer with good taste. They also do 5l, 30l or 50l kegs for takeout for your own party, wedding, funeral etc. Food is varied French country fare, with flammenkuche, beefburgers, welsh (fondue on toast!), and typical Bistro fare. There's enough there for anyone to find something good.

The food is great not just because you're France but because of the high standards of their products! Fresh and natural. The wine price was also fair. They ask if you have any allergies before serving. The menu constantly changes, so when choosing the 5 course, it's pretty much a surprise each dish, but they got better and better as they were served! Each course is served on a beautiful plate to accent the dish and they explain each dish as well as the wine (where it came from, how it was made, how it tastes). They also sell the wines you have by the bottle if you'd like to take one to go! Everyone was seated on the terrace (no one inside) and there were only about 12 tables, so definitely make a reservation! The owner and his wife worked together to serve each dish and explain everything! He also speaks pretty good English if you can't understand french! This restaurant is like a hidden gem, many tourists don't know about it! Highly recommended!
