It has a south-east Asian flavour to it, but it also means you get the fresh & fragrant spices offered by the warmer parts of the continent. Think sweet & sour, sweet chilli flavours. It is a a buffet, all-you-can eat melange of choices. Under the heat lamps there is a large selection of fried noodles and rice dishes, stir fry meat/vegetable dishes, deep fried chips, dumplings, prawn crackers, Camembert. There is also a salad bar with some absolutely delicious salads - think mushrooms, green mango, cucumbers, lettuce tossed through chilli/fish/vinegar sauces. Perfect for the extremely hot summer Europe has just suffered! There was also a separate sushi bar - I wasn't game enough to try it given the summer heat and for raw fish to be laid out in the open, but it's there with wasabi & ginger of you want it. There is a raw meat stand where you can pick your combination of meat, seafood & vegetables to be wok fried with your choice of sauce. I saw a sign in French with a list of soups including Pho (Vietnamese beef broth) and some others but I don't speak French so wasn't confident enough to order. To finish off there is a dessert bar with a selection of ice cream (scoop, not soft serve), ice cream topping, slices, cakes, eclairs, fruits, pudding. Price as at July 2018 for dinner was €19 per adult. Drinks are extra or they will provide you with table (tap) water. My favourites were the spicy tomato fried rice & fried frogs legs (eat them like chicken wings!) I love my food spicy and was expecting some lame Asian food tailored to a western palate but these guys were not afraid to add spice Heaps of choice for everyone - went in with the lowest of expectations after reading some harsh Google critics but left delightfully surprised and filled with wonder. N.B. This is located in an industrial estate in the back streets of a smaller town in France. You can see by the exterior that it is not a 3-Michelin star restaurant so anyone going in there should manage their own expectations before deciding to dine there. I went in with an open mind and these people are friendly and hard working enough to serve reasonably priced fare for everyday, family dining.

A large waiter came out to growl at us to get off the patio! 5 minutes later he grudgingly let us in. Then the officious "maitre d" seated us inside at a rickety little table under a blazing naked light bulb. And deigned to serve a couple of glass of sour white wine. Then came a big tour bus group of noisy Americans... At this point, we cut our visit to this horrible place short and headed to the Airelles for a civilized meal with pleasant wait staff.

The owner was delightful and readily offered menu items suited for vegetarians. The salads were a good size and made with very fresh ingredients, with a large amount of toasted chèvre on toasts. The vegetarian burger was both adult- and kid-friendly. Everything was delicious. Great value, too: the bill for three of us was only about 30 euros, including fresh mandarins for dessert. There are crêpes too (if you still have room!) There are also a few tables outside for extra capacity. The only downside is that it's lunch only, Monday-Saturday 11:30-3 (I think - double-check the hours).

We ordered Le Junkie, which had the vibe and toppings of a good plate of nachos, and Le Psychadelique, which had a different type of sausage with middle eastern flavors. It seems like they take inspiration from many sources. They have both halal and vegetarian options. I would definitely come back here, and would feel comfortable bringing kids or a larger group.
