Come and have Hannah service you. I repeat, Hannah is the one you want here…read more Is there a such thing as a precision pedicure? If there is not, Hannah just created it. The shop is pretty relaxed overall. The waiting chairs are comfortable while you wait for some technician to finish their client. There are plenty of manicure stations for the shop size, and maybe 6 pedicure stations. My details on the manicure experience is nonexistent because I've never had a manicure done. My feet. My used to be athletic feet. These size 15 walkers can sometimes callous up. You can tell if someone is going through the script or really paying attention to their job by how they use that cheese grater or sand paper block on your feet. Hannah was locked and loaded with her job. I don't think anyone ever put that much attention into anything below my knee area. Trying to remember, I was rubbed down with orange scented sand, then lotioned, then oiled, then lotioned, then hot toweled, then lotioned and oiled, then hot stoned, then lotioned and oiled, legs wrapped, legs getting punched, all while getting my lower extremities boiled in hot kool aid. Great times I tell you. By the time Hannah was finished, I was not certain what day it was. I am certain of one thing, if my wife ask to once again get a pedicure, I'm coming to this place and see if Hannah is available. Since my wife paid, I have no idea about pricing. The pedicure chair is a full massage chair with a place to charge your phone. There is a lot of settings and intensities on the chair, so play with the settings if you dare!

I asked her if it was truly needed, and she gave an affirmative response. This is the second time my wife has asked me to go get a pedicure with her, so my baseline for pedicure experience is established from my initial foot pampering experience. The staff was really nice. They are Vietnamese ladies, and of course, I asked them about food. As a fat man, it's my duty to know if I can find quality ethnic food in or near Livingston. I was told no one has real Vietnamese food in Livingston, but one of them will open up a restaurant in the future. They were friendly and answered all of my questions with a smile. Down to the nitty gritty: 1. I can't gauge the place off of pricing because my wife paid for this. 2. I do not mind workers speaking in their native tongues while working. 3. My servicing agent just didn't go through the motions with me. I knew she was actually trying to do the best job she could because she took her time. She only used the hand held cheese grater on my calloused areas of my feet. I'm a toe walker, so the balls of my feet will have a callous. 4. They did not put hot jello on my legs like the first pedicure I had. All in all, this place is legit. Someone please chime in and let me know if their pricing is fair.

Today Lynn was very rude and rushed me in and out, she had her feet kicked up before I walked in so I know she wasn't busy, had me in and out the chair in a minute or less, rushed my eyebrows and I came home to see it looks like they weren't even touched. Will never come back.

No stars if I could do that and no recommendations from me. My wife got a butcher of a hair cut…read morefrom Samantha and we had to go to another stylist in order to get her hair fixed. We visited Samantha a couple days later and we calmly talked with Samantha about it and Samantha got super defensive and said that we were unprofessional because we went to another stylist to fix my wife's hair. We didn't and weren't going to write bad reviews but now we must warn everyone to keep your hair away from Samantha or be prepared for unprofessional work and definitely an unprofessional attitude! Update, my wife and I returned to the shop because we were promised a full refund and Samantha had what she claimed to be a contract written up by her lawyer that she wanted my wife to sign in order for her to get a 20 dollar refund. My wife said it was a joke and Samantha and the owner got in my wife's face and proceeded to tell her that her hair cut was great! We paid 45 dollars originally and Samantha said that it's only 20 dollars because the cut was 20 and 5 tip and 20 for a "heat treatment". All Samantha did was flat iron her hair for a few minutes and charged my wife 20 dollars for the service which my wife didn't ask for in the first place. Anyway, this little shop and it's owner have no customer service skills and will not grow along with the city due to their lack of people skills and pettiness!

No more "drive-by" 30 minute haircut and styles for me. . . only to get home and find the sides uneven, stray hairs poking out, etc. Oh, no, the stylists at SM are perfectionists, making sure the cut is perfectly done, color is exact, and style is executed to your liking. This extra care is why their clientele keeps returning, along with the very friendly staff and nice decor. And did I mention that my hair has never looked better? Even compared to the high-priced salon in Houston.

In today's episode of "Stuff my wife has me to do because I would never do it on my own," we find a…read moreunique birthday gift for this fat man. I was asked to get in the vehicle and come to an appointment. Come to find out, as a birthday gift, my wife wanted me to experience something she likes - massages. I have purchased numerous massages for me wife, but truthfully, I never had a desire to experience the process. We pull up to a well manicured lawn and landscaping, and surely enough, we are at a massage and spa establishment. I will give you the highlights: * Every worker is an independent contractor that rent rooms from the owner of the business. *Amy is good at the craft. You feel her following the body/muscle diagram on the wall with the massage. *I'm too silly for this experience. I kept thinking about the Seinfeld episode where the fat guy received a massage from a guy, and felt unsure about his sexuality because his "unit" jumped from the experience. *As aforementioned, I'm too silly for this. If I was to do this again, I would want a tall, big, older lady to do it. Preferably named Olga. This place is really relaxed. My room had stars on the ceiling with a variation of the Northern lights going the entire time. Amy also had a thunder storm track playing the entire time. I can't give a frugal meter response because I didn't pay for it. Looking at the services and pricing, it seems fair. In regards to how this compares to others, I do not have anything to compare this to, so I'm good with the service provided. I'm not a tense person, so I'm not sure if I'll do this again on my own. To be fair, since this was a birthday present, my wife already had given me the massage that I wanted, so I was tranquil than a mofo. I can not speak for the other employees, but Amy is worth going to. I already purchased a massage for my wife.
