My first time getting a builder gel and they could answer no questions. They are mean to you. They talk to each other and ignore you. It's a miserable experience. My pedicure barely touched my cuticles. They did not ask about shape. I go rarely and it's bc I want a good pedicure!!! The only good thing was I was able to walk in immediately. Around town you have to make an appointment. From now on on I will go elsewhere!!

I walked in and asked for the deluxe pedicure *and* manicure. I chose a similar color for both the gel pedicure and dip powder manicure. The color is the only positive outcome of this experience. To start, the lady who took on my service filled the foot tub with ice cold water, then acted like it was an inconvenience *for her* when she had to drain it and re-fill it. I guess I should have walked out then. I did not get any kind of massage during the pedicure at all, which I didn't even realize until I was walking out. The massage was the main reason I went in for a pedicure in the first place! When it came to the manicure, if it can even be called that. The lady asked if I wanted my natural nail, I said yes and she asked what shape, I said square with slightly rounded edges. It's a shape I've always gotten and I'm comfortable with. She proceeded to buzz, shape, and dip my nails. I didn't think anything of it - like I mentioned above, I don't routinely get this done, so I figured she knew what she was doing. As the manicure continued, she continued to talk to me. Which I didn't mind too terribly, although I do prefer silence and relaxation over extensive conversation when I'm having a mani/pedi. At one point she commented on my silence and I just said "I'm good, just relaxing". She continued to talk, telling me all about her life and asking me all kinds of questions about mine. Maybe this is normal, I do not know. Every experience I've had has been relatively quiet on both sides of the table, besides questions about the services expected. Which this conversation should've had more of, clearly. As she continued filing away the sides of my nails, I felt moved to mention "not too rounded, more square" she assured me she understood. She continued filing. She polished, dipped, brushed, and filed some more. About halfway through I realized she had filed so much that most of my nails looked like ovals and the natural "square-ish-ness" of my nail was gone. What do you do in this situation? I could not exactly say no, start over... the nail was gone. So, I just let her finish. Towards the end, she asked if there would be anything else. I asked her if she would get the "gunk" out from under my nails, clean up the cuticles, or massage my hands... things that usually come with a manicure in my very limited experience... she said "you did not ask for a manicure, all I heard was dip" and y'all... she left it at that. I just said, oh okay and washed my hands - literally and figuratively. I was so done. After paying, I should've taken pictures but I just had to clean up my nails so I did that straight away as best I could. Around my nails, under my nails, my hands were a mess. Several of my nails are lopsided, they're all very oval/rounded and I feel like half the service I asked for was completely missing. I will not be going back.
