We read the sidewalk menu last night and based on advertised meals went inside. We were seated at a…read morehigh top table and given "English menu's" which had NOTHING on them that we had just seen on the menu posted outside their restaurant. We decided ok fine we'll just order a pizza but noticed the tables around us being served pasta dishes. I asked a French couple next to us and they translated for us and we all found out the French were given a totally different menu from us with more choices. Not impressed by that in the least. I might be a foreigner but I am a most respectful guest and was annoyed by this. The French couple helped us order spaghetti bolognese which was ok but ever so nice of them. Would not return here.

OMG we loved this place. Hip and delicious. Great service to top it off. The wine we were recommended was fantastic and reasonable. Around 20 Euro. We had to have a second bottle. The pizza was on the most tasty doughs I have ever had. My favorite was the mozzarella, tomato and arugula pizza. My husband and son loved the spicy pepperoni, mushroom, sausage, and peppers pizza. Cannot recall the name but that is what was on it. The sizes of the pizzas were generous as well. Wish that we are there again the next night. Had a bad experience the next night for almost twice the cost. I will leave my first trip to Europe with this restaurant as one of the highlights!

Ok. This review may spark upset amongst the foodie community but I have to be honest about my…read morehedonistic ways. After weeks in Italy, and a 12-hour train ride into the Rhône Alps, we arrived in Annecy, France. The hour was late. We were exhausted. And we were craving an American staple...Salty. Fried. Heavy. Greasy. Something. We were desperate for it. Salt is used sparingly throughout Italy besides in sliced meats. Our tastebuds and systems weren't acclimated and we needed the flavor that can only come from heart-gripping sodium. In walks Le Milton Pub in the heart of Annecy's old town. It happened to be on the lower level of our VRBO rental, so convenience was a factor at the late hour. I'll give you a minute to judge our unsophisticated palettes. I've judged myself just as harshly if not more when I picked an Irish pub in the heart of the French alps. But...Le Milton delivered in the best ways!! Totally Francais Steak and Frites for me. Fish and chips for the kiddos. Pina coladas and a glass of French wine to polish it off. Le Milton turned out to be the best blend of French/Irish pub food that left us so satisfied, we went back again the next night. It was packed around the clock. There would be plenty of time for pate and duck dishes. Le Milton won this round.

I would go here again, however, it was very busy and I found it a bit confusing and unorganized. I…read moredid order a Pizza to go which was AMAZING. I had just walked 8 miles and I was exhausted and craving an ice cold pina colada like back in the states. It was WONDERFUL!

We loved Annecy!…read more There are so many beautiful restaurants tucked into alleys. Le Lila's Rose is beautifully decorated and close of our hotel. We came in here and were seated outside which is exactly what we wanted. It was warm, but too not hot and alfresco dining was perfect! We ordered a kir which is made with crème de cassis and champagne. It was a bit too sweet for my liking but still good - I finished it! My husband had the Aperol Spritz which was perfectly made! The perch meunière wasn't exactly how I pictured it but it was good! Lightly fried and served with fries and green salad. The veggie pizza was just good. I saw that lots of other patrons were ordering cheese fondue. We had just eaten the regional specialty for lunch that day - the tartiflette (potato casserole) so I was all cheesed out! Food wasn't great but the ambiance was wonderful. Just being in Annecy was super!

Our waiter was very friendly and nice. They had lots of fondues, pizzas and meats available, my parents got their barbecue meats that you cook yourself on a hot stone plate. The experience is very fun and similar to korean barbecue but not as smelly. The meats are not marinated in anything but they give you two dipping sauces: aioli and a tomato-y mayo sauce. Since their menu is not 100% in English, I wasn't sure if it was priced at ~19€ per person and the portion is fit for two people. But how we ended up interpreting it as was 19€ per person but you have to get two portions. When the food came, I think the 19€ price was meant for two people portions. I recommend clarifying with the waiter, some speak English! That 19€ also comes with fries and a salad. I ordered the dish of the day which was some sort of stew with chicken, ham and cheese - it was delicious with bread and only 10€!
