While it's a private club for members, you can still stay as a sponsored guest, just ask a member to endorse your visit. That exclusivity keeps the place peaceful and uncrowded, unlike nearby hotels like The Manor or Forest Lodge. The Veranda is my favorite spot, with a beautiful view of the golf course's Hole 1 and 9. I grew up coming here with my family, and now I bring my own kids. The food is comforting--especially the spaghetti Bolognese, pizza, and a surprisingly good banana split in the main dining area. Don't miss Kate Reed Café. It's famous for its bread (especially the raisin bread and banana bread), gelato, and cheese bread, which is a recent favorite. you'll also find a gift shop selling clothes, shoes, and local items, plus a members' grocery that carries drinks, toiletries, fresh vegetables, and snacks. The club also has a pet daycare, which is a great option if you're traveling with dogs. For dining, my top pick is Hamada, the Japanese restaurant where the chef puts on a fun show while cooking. There's also an Asian restaurant offering dim sum and other specialties. They offer a range of recreational facilities: a bowling alley, ping pong, tennis courts, a driving range, archery, and a gym with classes. They're also renovating the old skating rink area for more activities. The rooms and cottages have been fully renovated. You can choose between deluxe rooms, suites, and junior suites all clean, modern, and well-kept. The staff is consistently warm, professional, and attentive. The overall ambiance is modern country with hints of rustic charm,it's evolved over the years but still feels familiar and homey. The buffet breakfast is very good. You have to pay since it's not included in your stay. The breakfast has several Filipino options and you'll not run out of options. You can sit inside or they have tables outside covered by white tarps covering the sun's rays. The place is very comfortable and you'll enjoy your breakfast. The service is also excellent with the staff always helping you out with your needs. If you haven't been to Manor, I highly recommend that you consider staying here for a day or two.

She added my IHG reward to our room but wasn't able to add my parents' room to the rewards for points - the one downside. The rooms were impressive and well-maintained. Love that they have a refrigerator in the room. Everything was very modern. I like how energy and electricity is conserved - as you step in front of your room the light overhead turns on; it turns off after a period of time! My parents felt cold in their room despite turning up the temperature and Sharlene helped them switch rooms. She also hand-delivered an orange, an apple, and a souvenir Baguio wallet. Breakfast buffet this morning had great selections from various fruits, salad, breads/muffins, hot food items (chicken adobo, pork tocino, longganisa, garlic rice, congee, soup), juices, granola, yogurt and cooking station for making all sorts of eggs. I had the cafe latte and it was delicious. My Dad also had the cafe latte and my husband had the cappuccino. We were told that the food tomorrow will be different so I'm looking forward to seeing the selections! There is parking for personal cars out front. The hotel is beautiful and kept up very well, so clean. As you enter the lobby, it's very spacious, and as well are the common areas and hallways of the floors. The rooms itself are modern and so clean, which anyone can appreciate. The personal touch of a handwritten note from the staff welcoming IHG rewards members was nice. Workers here are so polite. I'd recommend staying here on your next visit to Baguio.

I haven't had a proper vacation in nearly 4 years. I was hoping this would be a relaxing calming getaway. Instead it was quite the opposite. The beds are firm and uncomfortable. The view we had was over the parking lot and we would often hear cars and people giggling and talking outside. You can't shut the windows or it will get quite warm in the rooms. The walls are paper thin. The first night while I was trying to fall asleep around 9, music was playing in the foyer of the main lobby. It played until 11pm, and because of the very thin walls and doors, the sound echoed into our room quite loud. This all !ade sleep very difficult for me. To make matters worse, the next day we left to go do Baguio tours for 8 hours. By the time we got back, like with any hotel, we expected our room t at least have been tidied up. It wasn't. Around 5pm the maid service knocked on our door asking if they could do housekeeping. We said no as we were undressed and trying to rest from a long day. The food in both the Manor and Forest lodge is overpriced. Good, but not worth the pay. Overall, this is a trip I regret, especially for the price we paid. And I would not tak the same trip again here. I expected far better from a place with such a beautiful location.

So anyhow this is totally false advertising and I would never have booked it if they didn't lie and say it was pet friendly which it is not!!! So don't be fooled by their false advertising. I lost a lot of money from being downgraded from the top room to a basement sweet facing the parking lot. Everything I said is true and if it wasn't they could sue me so take it as you want.

The wifi works on and off as our next day, the wifi was not connecting. Some things were missing but you can easily ask them for it. The hot water seems to auto-set so we only had so many ch water to shower. Also, their drainage was not good. They need to replace their curtain as it's stained at the bottom. The big room we were offered can fit six people. There was two queen beds, one single and one folding out single couch. They have a 32" tv and shelves for your luggage and hangers for our clothes. They have a small frig, coffee maker, hairdryer in the rooms. No safe. Beds were ok and all had new sheets. The only thing was the bed was foam as well t the as per entry stiff and the sheets were hard. The couch bed was hard but we were there for a night while we visited the city so I didn't mind. The bathroom was kinda small but pretty clean. Shower head was a little dirty with hard water calcium but water came out good. Staff is super nice and helpful. If I had to stay here again for a very short stay, only a few of us and on a budget, I would come back. [108/100]

The village recreates typical housing huts of the Ifugao where you can rent one of the huts for overnight stays. They also have daily traditional dance performances which are interesting to watch. An onsite artist/weaving station nearby also illustrates the textile makings of the Ifugao. Should you need a unique souvenir from the Cordilleras, their souvenir station on the way out has a number of art or handicrafts, created by local artisans. Visiting Tam-Awan will reward you with many unique photo opportunities and it is an excellent spot for cultural immersion. Don't miss it!

This is one place visitors to the City of Pines should definitely include in their itinerary.
