We stayed here because we missed our flight to Ireland and just needed a place to lay our heads for the evening. I was instantly wowed by the vibrant lobby. It was more like a lounge as there were plenty of places to sit and just chill or you could head to the restaurant and grab a bite to eat. The amenities/snack area was also well-stocked by the reception desk and all the items were very affordable. The lobby alone gives this hotel a very chic feel. The staff was also very nice even as we attempted to converse in our limited broken French, but they speak English. We just try to attempt to speak the language of the country we're in to not be like the stereotype of what people normally think. The room was a standard room but the vibe from the lobby slightly carried over into the decor of the room. It was bright and well lit. The room seemed small but rooms in Europe sometimes tend to be a bit more condensed than what one might see elsewhere. The bed was just the right firmness and the pillows were cloudlike in softness. The room was well stocked though with all the necessities (towels, soaps, lotion, hairdryer, etc) and it was nice to be able to take a hot shower with really great pressure. The design in the bathroom was also very sleek and contemporary. It was like having a little apartment. It was super quiet and we were both able to get some well-needed rest. As I said, we were only there for the night and we actually didn't spend a huge amount of time in the room since we went to Disneyland Paris to cap off our time in France. Disneyland Paris is about 45 mins to an hour from the hotel. We took an Uber over there but you can take the train as well. Just be aware that there may be tolls if you take the Uber and your driver will usually ask you if you agree to the tolls. It's not expensive though.

They have a complimentary shuttle service from CDG (which you catch from the top level outside where other hotel shuttles pick up). Once we arrived, we were so impressed with how modern, clean and beautiful the lobby was! They even have these fun circular wooden swings and other fun artsy and playful furniture to enjoy, plus lots of space and lounging areas to relax in or get some work done. The room was equally modern and clean with bright glass bathrooms with wooden accents and floors. After some crazy travel days, we really appreciated how comfortable, relaxing and clean this hotel was. We certainly felt recharged the next morning to take on the city for a few days! The food here was also great! From a simple yet delicious dinner at the restaurant in the lobby area, to the breakfast buffet that was included with our room, we really enjoyed not only the flavors but the presentation as well! Thank you Marriott for making such a beautiful, modern, clean and delightful hotel! Merci beaucoup Marriott d'avoir fait un si bel hôtel, moderne, propre et charmant!

Please note: this is not a full MaisOui Le Frenchy detailed review. I did not come to the Sheraton Paris Charles de Gaulle to be charmed. I came because my flight departs at an hour that would offend any self-respecting Frenchman, and the alternative -- a taxi through the périphérique at 4h30 -- is a form of suffering I reserve for my enemies. What I found, I will reluctantly admit, was adequate. More than adequate, which is its own kind of surprise. The room is generous. A proper bed -- not the narrow apology for a mattress one finds in lesser airport hotels -- a desk large enough to actually work at, and the rare luxury of both a shower and a bath. At first glance, the room presented itself as clean. I did not look closely. That inspection, I reserve for another occasion. I am a critic, not an auditor. The bar and restaurant are present and respectable. The staff at the front desk were courteous without being theatrical about it. The bellman was helpful without requiring direction. This is rarer than it should be. But the true distinction of this hotel -- and I say this as someone who finds airport hotels philosophically depressing -- is that it sits inside the terminal. You do not leave the hotel and face the indignity of shuttles, signage, or the open sky at an hour when no sky should be witnessed. You leave the hotel and you are, simply, already there. For an early departure, this is not a convenience. It is a mercy. Five stars -- for what it is. An airport hotel that does its job with unexpected dignity. I will note, for the record, that this rating reflects a brief stay and not a full MaisOui Le Frenchy detailed review. The stars, like my opinions, are subject to revision.

If you've only arrive via the RER, it is at the top floor of the terminal when you've exited the station. If you're flying out the next morning, you can roll out of bed, check your luggage, head through immigration and to the gate without dealing with a cab, public transportation or traffic. The staff were friendly and the room was nice. What's more is that it was quiet (I was amazed!) and we actually got a good night's sleep before our flight home. We didn't try any of the restaurants, but if we needed a meal, food is available in the hotel restaurant .
