It's noticeably sweeter and richer than the Dame Cakes blend, which even with a couple of sugar cubes added still fell a bit flat. My dessert was excellent. My wife's cake was decent, though her tea was disappointing and largely went undrunk. It's a fun and charming experience, but the menu is a bit hit or miss. Worth doing a little research ahead of time, and don't hesitate to ask the staff for recommendations based on how sweet or rich you like your desserts.
