Unfortunately this was absolute not the case. We ordered two mid prized menus at 26 EUR each. As a starter we had fish soup and oysters, accordingly. The oysters were well prepared and presented. The fish soup tasted like fish fond that has been kept in a box for years. The fish taste was so intense that it became uneatable. A brown color supported the taste perfectly. As main dish we both had sea bass with bacon served with squid polanta and mayonnaise. A really weird combination which did not work out in real life either. Instead of focusing on the sea bass which one would expect being at a fish restaurant, the mayonnaise (!) and polanta filled up the most of the plate. The fish was dry and "poisoned" by the bacon that was wrapped around it. Both my partner and I were not able to finish this bizarre dish. For desert I had ice cream (time to go safe) and my partner had chocolate mousse. The mousse was actually quite good. It's really rare that we are not able to eat up when we go out but the fish soup and the main dish were so bad tasting that it was our only option. The only reason why we're not giving only one star is because of the nice presentation of the oysters and a good chocolate mousse for desert.

At the end of your dining experience, please do not deprive yourself of the Tiramisu, I realize it is popular and readily accessible across many restaurants, but this Tiramisu was as good as it gets. My guest and I came to this restaurant with high hopes because of the great reviews. After we checked in we ordered two glasses of red wine and a plate of scallops. Unfortunately, an elderly guest seated nearby fainted twice and hit her head pretty badly - she was bleeding while laying on the floor. The waitress serving us did nothing to help the situation, she ignored the injured guest and even continued to serve us as if nothing happened. As the fellow guest laid bleeding on the floor the waitress expected us to continue drinking wine and eating. My guest and I agreed that we would not continue to enjoy our meal until the injured guest got treated outside the restaurant by paramedics. Another guest called the paramedics while another held paper towels to her head to stop the bleeding. We waited outside the restaurant to allow room for the incoming paramedics to walk towards the injured guest because we would've been in the way. We flagged the paramedics down and told them where the injured guest was. We waited as the injured guest got treatment. Additionally, I had to use the restroom, however, the restroom was blocked by the bleeding woman. The waitress said to step over the woman to use the restroom. That would have been extremely rude to do. I decided to use the closest businesses' restroom (across the street) and when I returned after less than two minutes my guest informed me that the waitress had approached her and accused both of us of trying to get out of paying a 12 euro bill. The waitress yelled at my guest in front of a whole restaurant full of people. This was highly inappropriate and disturbing especially considering that a bleeding woman was still on the floor getting medical attention while the waitress was worried about uneaten scallops and half drunken wine. I returned to the restaurant and threw 20 euros toward the waitress. If you want to get treated poorly and yelled at by a bitter woman this is the restaurant to go to. The waitress asked several times that we eat our food as a elderly woman lay bleeding on the floor - we told her we will eat once she is deemed okay by the paramedics. She ignored our explanation, but most importantly, she ignored a possible life threatening situation. PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE.

The star of the show was the spicy olive oil they set on our table, my friends and I couldn't get enough of it. We were a little taken aback as Americans that we needed to order a dish per person, (as there were 3 of us and we only wanted 2 pizzas) and our server wasn't the friendliest, but it was busy so it's understandable that she might have been curt. We sat outside under the shaded patio and it was very nice and cool in the heat. Overall we had a very good time and the food was amazing. If we ever come back to Nice we will definitely be stopping in again.
