This aquarium is on the east side of Central Paris near Bois de Vincennes. This is a great place to visit just outside of Central Paris.

Thank god we had asked our concierge. For 20.50 euros, free for kids, you enter the aquarium with gold fish. Yes gold fish. It gets better with the main attraction being the large salt water aquarium where the sharks are. Also they have a huge koi pond that all kids had there grimy hands in, yuck. We didnt watch any movies but the whole thing lasted a little over an hour. My 4 year old thought it was cool. I did too especially the whole jelly fish section. They have a all you can eat sushi buffet for 25 euros but it smelled, well fishy. If you have time and kids, i would do this activity but not really worth it.

Our kids loved it, so totally worth it. Most of the signage is in French, English, and Spanish. The squishy has a relationship with the Kamo Japanese aquarium, so they had a bunch of Hello Kitty themed decorations and such. More importantly, the partnership means that this aquarium has a lot of jellyfish. We visited in December, so the mermaid show was also Christmas themed. It's an excellent show that is very well-rehearsed. They don't sell any food inside, but we were able to get a stamp for re-entry, eat or snacks outside, and then continue our visit. With children, this is a good 2-3 hour visit if you are able to catch one of the shows. Without the show, 2 hours maximum unless you just really love aquariums.

We live near one of the world's…read moregreatest zoos (San Diego Zoo), and we were totally satisfied with the Parc Zoologique de Paris. We didn't feel like it was in any way underwhelming or disappointing. On the contrary ,we were impressed with the very modern habitats, which seemed quite a bit roomier than most zoos, while not quite as spacious as the more open wild animal parks. Of course, as is the case with any zoo, you won't get to see every animal, as, you know, they're wild animals and can't be told to be in the window at all times. But as my wife pointed out, all the snakes can be found under their heat lamps! We will definitely be back next time we're in Paris.

Wow this is the best science museum that I've ever been too. By far (especially compared to my…read morelocal place... Liberty Science center in NJ). Most science centers are essentially glorified playgrounds/ learning centers for kids. This place actually was more targeted towards adults and teens. In fact during the weekday that we visited, it was almost exclusively adults. The exhibits are extremely interesting and informative and I learned a lot. I could've spent at least an entire day here (in contrast to the art museums like the Louvre where I was bored out of my mind). The different sections are in good working order. Many exhibits are in both English and French (although there are some that are French only). There was a really cool interactive sports exhibit too when we visited too. We got the explorer ticket that gets you access to the Planetarium as well as the special exhibits in addition to regular admission. I'd say that this is worth it as the Planetarium was awesome. Huge screen, comfortable seats, very interesting documentaries. Free WiFi. Very close to metro station. Will return on my next trip to Paris.

This timed-entry experience is broken down into 2 sections; one side for 2-6 year olds and the other for kids 5-10 years old. Our kids favorite thing to do here was the water play area, and the other spot where they could build forts. There were many games and interactive items. I wouldn't say a lot of this section was overly science. But my kids loved it. There is a nice playground near the museum but it was so hot, we didn't spend much time outside. This place is nice to escape the heat even if the air conditioning isn't overly strong.
