At first I was sceptic "An Asian restaurant in the middle of the countryside? How good could it be?" I was pleasantly surprise to find that the food was delicious!. I started with the beef salad which was enough to share for three. Then came the pork in caramelized sauce. This was amazing! This comes with a choice of rice or noodles. Go for the noodles. This is a little hole in the wall place and there werent many people seated at the restaurant. I ordered the rare beef pho while my friend had a combo pho. He also ordered an appetizer of these rice paper dumplings filled with ground pork. The first thing I noticed was the smell of the broth when the pho came out. It was incredible! The broth was so flavorful and one of the best I've had in a very long time. Didn't need to add any extra sauces :) Lots of noodles and very tender meat. I appreciated they give you a ton of meat. I loved it! The appetizer and veggies were very fresh. Overall one of the best phos I've ever had! So glad we ended up at this place for lunch. It was seriously meant to be :)

The staff here seem to be really interested in people's places of origin...they were surprised I was Filipino American and asked me to teach them some Tagalog words. If you're in Paris on vacation, this is far from a destination spot. But if you're just tired as hell, it's a welcome sight.
