I have tried other items on the menu, but there is a reason they focus on chicken... it's because their chicken is good. Always take the dixie lee sauce, even when you order a poutine, it's that good. Unfortunately, their poutines never have enough sauce. Pizza is good, not the best, but a great choice for the area. It is however a little pricey for all menu items.

It hits the spot when you're hungry on the road, but not necessarily a destination in itself. I have to admit that their items might be a little over priced, but I understand they need to make their money during summer, as tourist season is pretty short in Gaspésie. The sitting area is fine and they have good protective measures regarding the pandemic. It might have been useful to have a menu outside, as only one client is allowed at a time, and people have to move around the restaurant looking through windows to see their menu... I debated giving a 4 stars review, as I know it is important to encourage local cantines, but my honest rating would have been 3,5/5.
