Even after I moved out of state I would come home for visits and I always made sure to get a hair appointment. The shop owner, Kim is THE BEST! She will bend over backward to make sure you love your hair. She has awesome suggestions, she really knows what she is doing! All of the stylists are very good though, and are equally as amazing. The nail techs are super sweet and do a beautiful job. OH! Kim is also a master eyebrow/lip waxer! I can not say enough to praise how fabulous this place is. I LOVE it!!!!!!!

I wanted bangs and about 3 other stylists told me my hair was too long and it wouldn't look right. I walked into Deja Vu and Shayna cut me some bangs that looked great. Didn't say one word about long hair and bangs not being 'ok', just gave me some suggestions on specifics and did it. I guess she figured I'm a big girl and if I want bangs then I can deal with those consequences. But honestly, to get a good, quality haircut complete with honest input, and no BS, is really refreshing. And at a fair price to boot! Thanks Deja Vu!

The confirmation gave the wrong salon so I arrived at Glow Salon which is where she formerly worked (they did not have too many nice things to say), the lady at Glow was very nice and informed me that Taneshia is no longer employed there and is now at Tramps so I called the number on my confirmation and Taneshia answered. She told me I was wrong and that she did not have any appointments. She then got very rude and informed me that her booking staff was for better words incompetent. No worries, I dodged a bullet there and walked right back into Glow where I will book with someone else. I won't be berated by someone that I am trying to establish a professional relationship with.

I have a good friend that loves coming in and regularly getting manicures from Nail Barn, so I decided this is where I wanted to start treating myself again! As one of my resolutions, I wanted to start doing more for me this year! I arrived on time and Nikie was prepared for me and my service began promptly. She was such a great gal to get to know, I loved how chic the salon was and couldn't help but snap a picture of the cute seating area as I was seated waiting for my pedicure to dry. This salon also has a lovely boutique of goods to browse. I loved the atmosphere and it really was such a treat to come in! I will be back for monthly pedicures now with Nikie! Loved this place!
