Returned to store with the less stuffed pillow to be replaced with another, and the pillow cases to be refunded. it's been over two weeks and I have still not received my refund. I have spoken to so many employees regarding my refund. Just a terrible experience shopping at Dormez Vous for something so simple to do. Accounting & Refunds are not complicated!

I've been shopping for a mattress for the past couple months and finally found what I needed…read more Having tried many department stores, Ikea, liquidation centers and the biggest contender: Dormez Vous, I found Matelas Bonheur to have to best service and selection. The staff is truly knowledgeable and isn't just trying to a push a sale. Unlike Dormez Vous, I was informed that employee at Matelas Bonheur do not work on commission, so they take the time to find what you need and listen to your concerns. I made a purchase on boxing day and was able to benefit from a good rebate. The delivery was quick and the service they use to alert you of your delivery is also a nice touch. They send you a text message and call in advance to let you know when they're coming. This Brossard location never seems to have much people and the location itself is quite spacious so you should have no issues finding help or taking the time needed to test out the mattresses. I would have given this review 5 stars if they have thrown in a bonus pillow or something extra as one of the employee did recommend a pillow for me but never offered a rebate on it.

This company is well established since 1981 and their all natural durable futon is made of high density foam, latex, wool and recycled polyester. Their wood base are also made in Quebec by a subcontractor. The futon is high quality and you have pleasure to make peoples from here working. Cette compagnie établie depuis 1981 fabrique leur futon tout naturel avec de la mousse haute densité, du latex,de la laine et du polyester recyclé.les bases de bois sont aussi fait au Québec par un sous-contractant. Le futon est de première qualité et vous ferez travailler des gens d'ici. The store staff are kind and polite. My comments however focus on the Futon D'Or products…read morethemselves. 1. The Futon was adequate, comfy to lie on for a few minutes, rather uncomfortable to attempt sleeping on and I prefer an extra - firm mattress. This led me to look forward to the Tatami mats that were to be delivered a month later. 2. The Tatami mats all smelled very strongly of mouldy hay, not the "sweet" smell described in reviews of Japanese tatamis, not anything like what I smelled when I was visiting Japan in tatami lined rooms and not anything like the tatami mats I looked at in the Futon' D'Or store when I was there to shop. I figured that this smell would dissipate after a few days - it did not - it was overpowering after a few days. I was not told by the staff that delivered tatami mats can be neither exchanged nor refunded as is written on the bill. I will try to get the store to take them back but I have a feeling that this will not likely happy. So I likely am out $550 for 4 tatami mats that smell intolerably bad to me. If the store refunds them I will change my rating in a separate posting. If the store does not refund them I will likely throw them out.
