We had a really excellent meal at Le Canard. I booked on a whim through Quandoo, and was very pleasantly surprised by the friendly service, the delicious food, and the calm and elegant atmosphere.
The menu is mostly French classics (steak frites, duck a la orange, ratatouille), and everything was very well prepared and presented. It was a very "classy" experience, in Yelp parlance. :)
We ordered crème brûlée and chocolate mousse for dessert. The crime brûlée was amazing, but the chocolate mousse was heavily spiked with alcohol, to the point that we couldn't eat it. So I would avoid the mousse, or at least ask if they're still spiking it.
Worth noting that the prices are quite high - most main courses are in the 20-30 € range. So this won't be a weekly spot, but I will definitely be back for a special occasion! read more
