We ordered a plate like a combination including 4 gyoza, 4 mini-tempura(fried shrimp), two beef-something snack, etc. when they put the foot on the table, I was shocked! How can such easy and ordinary food in such small size priced more than 20 euros, let along the not-even-close-to satisfying taste. It worth like even less than 10 euros. The fried rice included in the combo was like left-over from yesterday. The service was awful too. One waiter had nothing but kept chatting with customers, while we were waiting forever for ordering. Then when the food was ready, no any waiter served the drinks we ordered from the very beginning till we told them again after the food was already on the table for several minutes. We also ordered Ninja Sushi, which was mainly just some cheap shrimps on top of rice rolls and priced like 15 Euros at least. I have had hundreds of time to various Sushi restaurant and this was definitely the worst one I will never ever go again.

Most of my stay in Aix-en-Provence I was sick with a severe case of food poisoning. It lasted about 10 days before I was finally able to get a doctor to prescribe an antibiotic. Naruto was there because they make an excellent ramen. I highly recommend ordering any of them. They are on the mark authentic to what you can get in Japan. While I wasn't able to try any of their other dishes, I highly suspect they are on par with their ramen as Naruto is always packed. From the moment they open, all the tables are filled with customers. It doesn't matter what day of the week nor time of day. They are busy, busy, busy. The owner is a fun character, who enjoys being silly. He clearly takes preparing his meals seriously though. Check out his business cards. They will make you smile. He's something of a local celebrity. And you can see this is true fore he has that certain charisma that draws you into his world.

A new Japanese restaurant in Nice…read more It is in a street where we do not think of going to find a restaurant that is this new Japanese restaurant Amada. We arrive in a small room, with a simple and appropriate decoration. The welcome and the service are very satisfactory. The card is restricted enough. The menu consists of a first dish, a dish and a dessert, if my memory is good this one is approximately 35EUR. À la carte is only dishes and desserts but no first dish. Great restaurant, too bad that the card is so restrictive.
