Very good seafood for a decent price, but service a bit messy…read more Being in the west coast of France and not eating oyster during seasin is a crime. In France, we say that the season is all the month containing "r", and surprisingly it also works in English (yay!) So we went there on the advice of my local friend with a big group and were not disappointed. There are little plates, just to try out on the side of your "moule-frites" (pick the one with cream and garlic) if it is your first time with oysters to the gigantic plate. Staff is more than OK for people to share. What makes the quality of seafood is how fresh it is, you don't need a fancy cutlery or chair, and this restaurant is definitely not about that. Just good food, in a nice location (there are some restaurant facing more the port, but either more expensive, either not as good) with a caring staff. People who took the moule frite were happy, people who took the plateau de fruit de mer were happy. Nothing more to say. Or... Still, the informations we got from the waiters were a bit contradictory (purely about service, not food) which made us uncomfortable and one of my friend had to leave because she was the witness of the wedding when she actually could have stayed and eat with us if the informations given were accurate. If you're in holidays and have no schedule, go ahead, otherwise keep that in mind, even though there sympathy is very likely to surprise you positively in the end.
