The kitchen perhaps mistook us for inexperienced foreigners not worth an effort (a mistake, given strong Swiss heritage)- it's hard to guess what went wrong. Regardless, I truly don't understand how an alpine restaurant could not have a little more pride in the quality of such an iconic mountain menu item. It tasted like something mass-produced in a distant factory which they threw together quickly with zero seasoning for unsuspecting tourists. The end result is that all charm we initially felt for this restaurant flew out the window, along with our respect!

Before 11pm the DJ is pretty timid and plays chill music. However, after 11pm the real good music comes out and the bar turns into a semi-club. Lots of hits and a great time! If your party goes beyond 1-2am there's even a club next door you can check out.

Guinness on tap yes please it tasted like in Ireland, plenty of Jameson available for shots. Food was OK nothing Irish, we had a charcuterie board, fish and chips, salad. At the end they gave us a free Jameson shot because no one ever ordered so much food.

There's one in the town I live at back in the US, but I've never seen a place that offers this concept for beers. During my time in Annecy a travel buddy told us he had read about it in a travel book he was carrying so we decided to check it out after dinner. The bar has a rustic feel to it and it looked like the beers were switched out frequently. I can imagine beer loving locals come here often to try all the newest arrivals and seasonal brews. We didn't really do the whole concept (we had the staff assist us in getting beers served instead of doing it ourselves), but we did grab a couple of beers. These were more crafty beers from micro breweries which we really loved. I can't remember now if there was any food served here, I think this is a great spot to go out for drinks with friends after dinner.
