It's quite tucked away from the main area of the city but it's worth the uphill walk. Once you arrive you will be welcomed by a small little diner type venue - note there is not much seating. So it's more of a takeaway place. Anyway we ordered two cheeseburgers, you are given options of the type of cheese you would like, after all you are in France. The burgers were cooked to perfection and totally worth the great reviews that it has been gaining. The ambiance of the restaurant is very relaxed and the staff mainly comprising of the chef and the guy operating the till and phone were friendly and talkative.

Only some marinara sauce could have improved the tastiness. My wife got the 'Liege Mont Blonc'. It was so good; could be a breakfast/brunch choice. Still wanting to try another food item, we split a 'Wafnurger'. Great lunch or dinner option. Be careful of the grease with the Wafburger though, it was hot and dripped onto our hands. Splitting the waffles ended up being a wonderful idea. We'll be looking to try several more waffles. Could use some condiments to spice up or improve the flavor a bit.

It seems like most of the seating outdoors was only for a couple of seats or four people at best, so we sat inside where it was cooler and the tables were larger, the owner came and spoke with us and answered our questions about the menu. We all ordered a variety of things, but most of us ordered the steak. All the food was absolutely amazing. The attention and Service was that of a five star restaurant. The food was perfectly cooked the steaks at the right temperature, the hummus was perfectly made, and we were more than thrilled with everything we ordered. We would most definitely come back the next time we are in Marseilles.
