So on a sunny day you can watch the light aircraft (carrying celebs?) land and take off whilst you sip one of their delicious vin chaud. On a cold day it is a great place to stop and warm up. On Thursday evenings they do an evening meal followed by a torchlight descent for 90 euros! If you can't afford that, just call in for a beer and sit and people watch! In late January they usually have a polo tournament in the snow covered altiport which is worth a visit!

Even inside, they cook some of the food over an open fire. Love the wood. We made a reservation to insure a spot and needed directions. I asked at a nearby chalet and it turns out the owner of that chalet was the husband of the owner of La Soucoupe, he said, "its my wife". And she was; charming and came around to check on us.
