I first stayed here about 20 years ago. My aunt and uncle would frequently come here when vacationing in Alsace. Jack and I also blocked our niece and nephew here over 10 years ago. Since then they have definitely renovated this place. The rooms are pleasantly appointed. We even had a lovely balcony with chairs and tables which unfortunately were full of snow. But in the summer it would be great to sit and had some coffee or red wine. We chose the half board and had a lovely five course gourmet dinner the two nights we spent. The food was prepared perfectly. The second night our meet course consisted of filet mignon. We ordered it blue rare, and it actually came that way. For breakfast there was a lovely buffet with a variety of jams, fresh baguettes, cereals, yogurt, cold cuts, cheeses, two different types of cake, and even German Christmas Stollen.
The Beau Site has a sister property a block down the road. There hotel guests can use the spa facilities. There is a lovely heated pool, a Jacuzzi, as well as steam room and dry saunas. There is a charge for this. When we arrived at the property he already had robes, towels, and slippers waiting for us. They also offer a variety of treatments but we passed on those. We will definitely return some time in the spring or summer. read more
