I've had this really really annoying mole under my nose for ever and in the past couple of year it…read moregot bigger and more annoying for a number of reasons. When I finally decided to get rid of it for good I started investigating what my options were and what the best clinic in London was, and after days of searching I've found the Elan Medical Skin Clinic. I understand it's run by the lovely Sue Ibrahim and has its main branch in Rayleigh, Essex. Sue is in the London branch every Wednesday. I've enquired and booked all online (which I appreciated as I hate phoning people). There is a £50 fee to pay for the first consultation. Last week I headed to Whitecross Street and met Sue. She talked me through the different ways a mole can be removed and what her preferred methods are, then examined my mole and told me a cut at the base with radio wave would suffice as it didn't have any root. I was able to do it there right after the consultation, didn't feel any pain whatsoever and all in all I was out of there in 30 minutes. The actual removal took about 3 minutes. Paid £250. Today the scab has fallen off and I can barely see anything, I am ever so grateful to Sue for her professionalism and kindness, and I could not recommend her enough. I was really scared of heavy scarring and I feel silly now that I can see it'll all be fine once the new skin isn't as pink as it is now. Thank you Sue.

Had removal of skin cancer on forehead via Mohs surgery by Dr Shweta Aggarwal and assistant nurse…read moreSarah Manners. Asked for antibiotics following procedure but they advised that they don't tend to give antibiotics unless closer to the hairline and told me infections are extremely rare. Ended up developing a serious head infection and now scar won't heal properly as stitches had to be opened up too early (by a far superior plastic surgeon, Nick Parkhouse, in Central London) to release all the poisonous pus. Trauma exacerbated by both Shweta and Sarah lying to my face that they offered me antibiotics but I refused them! According to them, they advised me to take antibiotics to prevent infection and to promote healing. I rejected their advice as according to them, I had only recently taken antibiotics! Completely made up - a total lie! AVOID AT ALL COSTS - clearly they don't have any ethics and too busy covering their own backs than speaking the truth. And more importantly, thinking about themselves rather than looking after their patient. No compensation or apology forthcoming. I would add that the Medical Director, Dr Howard Stevens, clearly doesn't have any integrity either as he doesn't seem to care that both his plastic surgeon, Dr Shweta Aggarwal and his assistant nurse, Sarah Manners, are liars. (Pls note I live near Barnet - not sure why Yelp is showing San Francisco!)

This review is in relation to the Chelsea practice, not the Barnet one…read more I made an appointment 7 weeks ago. I emailed photos through to confirm the person I was making the appointment with would be able to assist (as I didn't want to go all the way down there only to be told to come back). It literally took about 45 mins of phone calls all up to get the appointment made and confirmed it was with the correct person. Night before I get a call to say that the person they have booked me in for can't do the procedure.... Appalling customer service and I figure if they can't take booking properly....
