The single cans cooler is usually packed and includes new and seasonal so it's easy to try new things. I don't love the returns area in this one though. It's small so it gets messy fast and often has lines on the weekends. An extra sorting counter would fix the problem fast. Overall, great spot. Still have to try the new beer express service.

The food isn't stuff that I would crave in the wider world. The four cheese pizza was more of a pizza wannabe than an actual pizza but still it was tasty and satisfying. Where they shined was their drinks. The gin spritz was lovely! It was lemony and well balanced. The sangria was amazing - well balanced as well, refreshing, and lovely. The service ranged but it was considerable. The workers seemed to walk the sections at their availability checking in with people. Everyone ranges from very professionally polite to friendly and approachable. It was nice.

A brand new, ginormous LCBO right down the street from me?! AWESOME!…read more This location used to have one of the of the oldest, run down LCBOs in Ottawa, and it totally deserved this facelift. It's located right across the street from Carlingwood in the revamped Fairlawn Plaza. What makes this location so freakin' awesome? It's huge! It's size makes the selection great, and I have a bit of a sentimental attachment to it since it's were I first discovered pre-mixed Canadian Club and Ginger ale (SO convenient - right?!). Seriously though, the selection kicks butt, the staff are helpful and pleasant and it's brand new! What's not to love? Also, if you happen to be a drinking cyclist, they have a bunch of places for your bike (and they're used - a lot. I don't know how people have such awesome balance that they can bike home with a 2-4, but props to them). My only teeny tiny complaint it that they're only open till 9 p.m. most nights, but so are most locations that aren't downtown. Otherwise, thank you Ontario for this wonderful establishment!

Usually good service. Not sure why they expect me to leave my purchase on the counter, and return…read morethe cart back to the front door. I normally bring the cart back if I use it to cart heavy bags to my car and then return it inside to the front door, inside. However, once inside not sure what the rules are. Are there any rules for this? I just think good customer service shouldn't be swagging their finger at me to return the cart when I'm on my way out.

I find this location a little disappointing compared to others. Not that is isn't as big or stocked…read moreas others but being that it is the location connected to the distribution warehouse I would think that of all the locations this would be the one where you should be able to find anything available in Ottawa. Unfortunately this is not the case and I have wasted a walk from South Keys trying to maximize a trip out this way on more than one occasion.
