This LCBO is one of the few better ones in the GTA, in my experience. It never seems to get too crowded, and I've never left empty-handed. Although they might be missing a few products time to time, there's always a good variety to choose from within the spacious store layout. What really adds to the pleasant shopping experience here is the friendly and knowledgeable staff. They're a welcome change from other locations where the service can sometimes feel doubtful and stressful. It really shows that the vibe of a store can greatly depend on its location within the city! If you're in the area and need to pick up some beverages, this LCBO should definitely be on your list. read more

The store is accessible from inside Bayview Village Shopping Centre and is clean and well-maintained. They have good variety of liquor, red wine, sparkling wine, white wine and beers. The shelves are well-stocked. The store is very popular in the area and is rather busy, specially over the weekends. read more

Great Tasting Bar set up right in the middle of the store. Huge vintage section! The best one I been to out of all the LCBOs! Don't be afraid of venturing into vintage area, as there are also reasonably priced wine from the mid $20s and up up up up! Beer selections is excellent. I work just up the street from Bayview Village so I drop in once in a while, especially when the traffic is heavy. I hate driving in traffic and today was one of those days. This LCBO store is one of my favourites. It has lots of great choices in wines and a large Vintages selection. I have seen more choices for rum and whisky at other stores though. This store, however, has a tasting station, but let's call it a bar, that pours shots, errr, samples, for as low as $2.00. Funds (donations) go to charity. This station allows you to try a variety of wines and spirits without having to buy a whole bottle. It's better than Happy Hour! Today, I sampled some Scotch by Auchentoshan, Glenlivet, and Old Puteney. Of those three, I preferred the Auchentoshan. I found the Glenlivet Nadurra a bit too bold, although it was better with a few drops of water. The Old Puteney was just so-so. This place is evil. Very, very evil. It's also the nicest LCBO I've ever visited. Anyone who wants to talk about moderation has never indulged in a bottle of sake from a liquor store, and my purchase here left me reeling the next morning. There is an absurd amount of selection at the Bayview Village location. Rows and rows of wines from across the world, each with handy notes that tell you about the flavors and local wine rankings. A huge gift section with multiple types of the aforementioned sake, plus gourmet liqueurs, bitters and more. Tons of vintage options, ranging from recent wines to $500 Glenfiddich 21-year aged whisky. If you know your alcohols, this place is paradise. There's also a tasting bar in the middle of the store, where you can try wines and various drinks. This is in addition to a separate tasting booth that was set up in the store on the day we visited. My friends and I tried Smirnoff with grapefruit juice concentrate. I suspect a bottle of that stuff could screw up someone real bad. It would nominally be a 5-star establishment, but the service leaves a bit to be desired. One staff member nearly had a freakout in the middle of the store because we weren't aware that the dropful of alcohol we were tasting couldn't be taken away from the tasting booth. Likewise, the cashier we met there looked like she'd rather be somewhere else. Have some pride in your work. This is one of the best locations in the GTA, as far as I'm concerned. A true mecca compared to most of the other "general selection" locations, and there's something for every price point. Just don't make the mistake I did of buying three different types of sake, then trying to pair it with red wine, Crystal Skull vodka (shoutout to my boy Dan Aykroyd), Bacardi rum and cider. My favourite LCBO! Did you know they offer classes? Any-who check them out, they are food and beverage related. The people here are super friendly and helpful. They really take their time explaining or help you find what you are looking for. The vintage selection is really extensive here. They have a tasters bar! Mostly for wine, it is a couple of bucks for you to taste before you buy and you can get some tips on how to properly appreciate wine. They also offer this for hard liquor. It depends on what is at the bar but most of the wines for tasting will be found in the vintage section. So far anything that I have purchased there I would go back and stock up on for dinner parties and such to have on hand. read more

One of the best LCBO locations in the entire GTA. This place boasts a wide variety of liquors, wines, and even Beers. There's a separate room for vintage wines and champagnes as well as a gift section with cute wrapping. In addition to all this, there's bar that lets you try some of the higher brands of Scotch and tequila. I love this place and I am thankful that it's only stone thrown away from me. One of the larger and better stocked LCBO's around. If you can't find what you are looking for at some of the smaller ones, this one might have it. I am marking it as pricey not because of anything inherent to this store, but because I think Ontario's and Canada's taxes and monopoly on liquor sales are obscene and do nothing to curb alcohol abuse while punishing those who drink responsibly. read more

Other than the Summerhill LCBO, this is my favourite liquor store in the city. It's huge and has a large Vintages section. It also has a tasting bar, which I've never tried, and a good gift section for Christmas. The single-malt selection is quite good, though again it's dwarved by the Summerhill site; still, I managed to find a few things here I couldn't find farther south. The store is part of Bayview Village, so the parking situation is fierce. read more

This is a pretty large LCBO. Wide selection of wines and beers. The only thing I don't like about this LCBO is the hours they are open. I find that they close earlier then some other LCBO's. Disadvantages of being hooked to a mall. The mall can get bad on the weekends so beware of parking issues. I don't encourage this but you can park standby in front of LCBO. read more

Was in your location this afternoon and did not have a great experience ! Asked an associate for help on a particular wine and all I can say is her knowledge was as informative as mine would be discussing a hairless cat ! Proceeded to find the wine ourselves after many walks around the store. Went to cash to pay and was standing in line for 15 minutes at one cash so we decided to go to the other cash and were yo-yo'd back and forth ! We were then patronized by the cashier who asked for ID .... we are 52 years old ! Not funny ! May I also add the very "informative" employee was noticeably disgruntled about having to open up on cash because there was a line up about 7 people deep ! A lovely location as far as appearance goes but sorry we won't be back ! read more

I can't believe I'm writing a review about an LCBO. But of all the LC's I've been to, this one is pretty awesome. They stock lots of stuff I've never heard of before. I have even found actual big discounts on some of the bottles here - one time 1.14L tag vodka was discounted to less than the cost of 750ml bottles. While there's lots to complain about with alcohol prices in Ontario, I've had some good luck at this LCBO. read more

Staff and selections are great but Buyers Beware. The clearance items are a bit of a scam. 1. They are non refundable. 2. The number in the big black numerals/letters is not the cost. It is only the discount. Read carefully before you purchase. read more
