The beer selection is organized by style along the shelves, not by geographics. The vast majority of the brews are from Québec, La Belle Provence. If you're in the Ottawa area, definitely the place to go for Quebec microbrews. Great selection, with an offering 300 varieties of beer! After spending a few weeks in 5 different states; if you have the means/opportunity, go to AMERICA!!! Regardless if the dollar is .80 cents to the dollar or even .65 cents to the dollar. Shoes, clothes, food, drink are just more affordable. You can go to a bar and have a drink for $2.. $2.50; try to get a drink in Toronto for under $9 (rarity). In other words; duty free makes a lot of sense. As does shopping/supporting America and it's retailers; there's no glory in being taxed 13% and paying double for 'stuff' in Ontario.

As you would expect, there are deals here on a variety of items, most notably alcohol, cigarettes, and cologne, but other items, souvenirs, etc. Prices and procedures are standard. Shop carefully - some things are very good deals, some are not. The facility is clean, the rest rooms are well maintained - and a good place to stop first if there's a long line waiting to enter Canada. There a few benches outside and an area which offers you a great view of part of the St. Lawrence River and some of the nearby islands.
