Lisa made SUPER fresh ham and cheese sandwiches for us! She has the freshest produce that is kept in chilled containers so the lettuce and tomatoes were the best and no flies to molest! Her homemade cinnamon and caramel rolls were fabulous We told her we'd return on way back from Canada in a few hours for pie, ice cream and coffee. More homemade goodies were had again and we bought the whole pie to take home! I feel this should be advertised more as a deli and grocery instead of liquor but thats me- this little oasis has it all! Great meeting Lisa and visiting with her - she's great company. Great coffee! I'm spoiled though, as I live a few blocks away from the flagship LCBO stores for Ontario. It's hard to compare. "You don't have everything?"... "No??!?!" It has a few nice beers in the back cooler and more than enough wine and spirits to keep you coming back. Plus, if they don't have it, but LCBO carries it, just ask at the info desk and they can arrange to get it in for you... But you probably already know that already.

I loved this brewery so much! It is a beautiful space with a huge selection of beers on tap. The…read moresetting is super industrial, low key, with lots of seating (I particularly loved the upstairs seating). My favorite part was the "build your own charcuterie" option (though I didn't partake, I loved the idea). I always want something cheesy to nibble on when I am at a brewery and being able to choose your own tidbits for a charcuterie is an excellent idea. For the beers, I tried their Northern Logger, which I loved, and their Pilsner which was okay, but a little heavy. Their storefront shop is cool too; you can get anything from standard logo-pint glasses to even a blue yoga mat and long johns with their logo on it. You can also get all of their beers in various sizes, from a single can to a Growler and everything in between. We grabbed a four-pack of their Northern Logger to take back home with us to Minnesota. I hope I return to TBay soon, and especially hope this was not my last visit to this brewery!
