I had a rough week last week. I ended up soothing my frustration consuming a few alcoholic drinks on Thursday night. I wanted more! I wanted to check out the latest new flavour, watermelon, from Cottage Springs vodka coolers. I thought that I didn't need a basket. I found my watermelon vodka coolers and grabbed a couple of cans. I then found Georgian Bay smashed tea and vodka smash cans, and picked up a couple. At the back of the store, a cheerful woman was dishing out samples of cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay. She asked how I was. I said that I felt like a clown juggling cans of cooler, which made her laugh. My friend is a keeper. She went looking for a couple of baskets for us. She saved the day and my arms when I loaded all my cans into one of them. I sampled the cabernet sauvignon first. It was so good. It had hints of blackcurrant (love!) and blackberries. Both my friend and I sampled the chardonnay. It was light and crisp. As much as I loved both, I went with my first love, the cab, and grabbed a carton, which is recyclable. I then wanted to see if I could get sangria in a can. A helpful customer overheard me and pointed out the cans for me. Nice! I got the white sangria. I swiped my Air Miles card and paid for my goods with my debit card. I was so happy with my purchases. I got everything in a trusty brown paper bag and we both walked out with our goodies. I like this store. I'd come back here again for more alcoholic beverages. (175)

Lots of regulars here - it's a true neighborhood pub. If you frequent this place, the owners will remember your name, and what you like to drink and eat. The patio/deck has been renovated for Covid restrictions and is good, even in the colder weather. It's covered, heated and quite comfortable. In the summer, it's a great place to enjoy a beverage and get some sun, or hide under an umbrella. The menu is not expansive, but has surprising variety and includes such items as calamari, edamame, antojitos along with sandwiches, wings, burgers etc. All the food is super fresh and very high quality - burgers are fresh, never frozen, Cuban sandwich is hearty, and the club is just delicious on the brioche bun! They even have a Vegan burger on a Vegan bun. Oh, and drinks. The Guinness is always fresh since they serve to much! Last summer, they got the Bees Knees drinks (it's a Killer Bee with an extra shot!!). Your glass will not go empty with the fast service! Highly recommended. Was returning empty bottles and decided to buy some beer. There were only two people working there…read more One guy in the bottle returns and one person in the cashier. Once you walk in there are pallets of 24's or 28's of mainstream brands like Molson, Labatt, Coors Light, Budweiser, Heineken, Sleeman, etc. I went to the import section and decided to buy my favourite Italian beer Peroni. 24 case was $53.95. Also bought 3 Bud light lime tall boys at $2.80 each. Great selection of beer in this location. They have lots of single tall boys for purchase by the cashier in a refrigerator. Will come again. Hopefully they have my Peroni on sale next time.

Everything is labelled pretty well. Keep a lookout for the sales and the items with bonus AirMiles - these deals should be displayed right by the normal price tag. We were hoping to grab a case of wine since we needed 12 bottles. We asked one of the staff on the floor who did a quick scan with a machine and was able to tell us that they only had what was left on the shelves. We wound up clearing out that shelf and he helped us load up the cart. If you're stocking up for the party season, they have empty boxes up at the front that you can carry your goods out in. The cashier asked us if we needed one and helped us look for one that could hold a dozen bottles of wine. She also helped us pack up our wine to go. Nice employees and good prices.
