Absolutely the best! Allen has helped me through a very stubborn and obstinate weanling/yearling, and helped bring my four year old mare into a pleasant individual. Very patient, kind, and professional - a definite blessing! read more

This Farrier is Allen Heffelbower. Friendly, professional and has an immense knowledge of his trade. Been caring for my horse and donkey for years. Responds for emergencies also. I will never have another farrier care for my babies. Doesn't get any better than Allen. He was referred to me by my veterinarian. read more

I met Allen through a friend of mine in Four Oaks, NC. It took me only one time seeing him in action to know he was the farrier for our boys. Allen is professional, very informative and truly loves the animals he cares for. He has a great rapport with equines and knows more than almost any farrier I've ever met. He is quick to give good information, is honest and treats the owners and their animals with the utmost respect. He's not just a farrier, he's a great friend to the animals and they really have respect for him as well. I've never seen this man raise a hand to them or be harsh in tone or action. Absolutely, top notch farrier! read more
