I left quickly to go grab my other vehicle to pull it out and unfortunately the state cops called 15 mins later to say they couldn't wait for me to come back and already called Detweilers Towing out of schuylkill Haven to tow my vehicle from pottsville (5.5 miles). I said wow I got bad luck, or so I thought. I call this clown and he says to me around 11pm on the phone that it's 250 for the tow and 50 a day until picked up which is a total of 350 if I pick it up the next day but he'll save me today's 50 fee since it's this late already so I said thank you thank you and hung up. 7 hours later I arrive at his place and there's my baby sitting there waiting for me. I go in and he says sorry about that but it's 400 not 300 and I said no no no you're mistaken you told me 300 and he said well since I had to pull it out of a ditch it's an extra 100 and I almost blew a gasket but my girlfriend said just pay it's not worth the trouble. And here's where it gets good. I ask for the key he says he never got one lmao but for another 100 I'll tow it back to my house which is 2 miles FURTHER than the original tow. I HOPE if you're reading this review you take my warning of this company is a huge scam!!!! YES LEGALLY A TOW COMPANY CAN charge you whatever they want and I already knew this BUT THE PROBLEMS COME IN when they start making things up to basically upsell and steal money off their customers! I just took the vehicle to Manbecks & the NICE man there told me that basically none of that was true & passed my inspection with no work done. Well, in a blaze of glorious sparks, he had to pull off to the side of the highway (which is a feat in itself let's be honest). As he gets out of the car to try and see what the actual F is going on he realizes that the vehicle has sprung a leak but unsure as to where it was actually coming from. After a little bit of fenagling he was able to unjam the offending object from under the car to see that it was up close and personal with the transmission and we now have a rather large issue. Luckily, he was able to limp the car to the next exit/gas station and able park it out of the way, but things were only getting worse. Now comes the realization it is after hours on a big holiday eve... and we also forgot to reup on our AAA subscription (my bad I will be getting on that asap). However, after a few phone calls and some google searches, we came across the listing on Yelp for Kaufman Towing with the holy grail of labeling of "open 24hrs". Within 30 minutes of finding the phone number and making the call we have the car parked in our driveway to wait another day to deal with it and the insurance. They were wonderful people, and the wait was microscopic compared to most as well as the price. They saved our butts and will definitely be saving their number on speed dial because with my husband's luck... we very well might be a repeat customer if not the best. Thank you, Kaufman's Towing!

I drove very slow last few miles to the track. My pit crew at the track looked it over and said no way is that safe to drive at highway speeds. (I live 65 miles from Big Diamond Minersville). I left the van outside the pits gate at midnight after our race. I got a ride back home in the race car transporter. I got home just in time to take care of some personal issues. So it is now 1:30 AM and I proceeded to call AAA & told them my "extenuating circumstances" AAA was a pain to deal with and would not tow because I was not there. What a pile of malarkey that AAA people are. So I then just told them to call the tow company (Northern Keystone Towing And Recovery) and have them call me. Andrew from the tow company called me and verified who I am and the owner of said vehicle, where it's at and all the documentation and keys. My special van was picked up immediately within an hour and securely taken care of and delivered to Coopersburg (our own repair shop). Thank You Andrew of Northern Keystone Towing And Recovery
