Avoid this lot at all costs. This facility uses predatory and intentionally misleading pricing tactics to scam drivers. Upon arrival, I was forced to prepay $30 at the entrance gate. Because the posted overnight rate on the sign was $32, I reasonably expected to pay a simple $2 balance when exiting. Instead, the exit kiosk caught me in a trap and demanded an additional $29 to leave. It turns out their "overnight" rate only lasts until 6:00 AM, rather than covering a standard 24-hour period from the time you enter. Absolutely none of this fine print is posted, explained, or made clear anywhere in the facility. I ended up being slammed with a $59 total bill for a single night. They deliberately hide these rules to trick people, and it is pure extortion. read more

I parked here for two nights with no issues. The garage was clean with plenty of cameras. The ticket machine worked and the pricing was reasonable. read more

This is for the Laz Parking Garage located at 1 Light Street. While I appreciate the 24 hour operation, along with the security and the cleanliness, the process is bad. I am a traveling business person. So I am (was) using the garage for several weeks. I pre-paid in advanced for the time of my visit. After the first time using the QR Code on my phone, I was having issues. Why? I come to find out there is no in-out privileges. Now why would you offer it and not allow it to be uses? Why would you allow such an inefficient process still take place. Instead of the pass, you want me to pay each and every day? That is pathetic. So now I have been on the phone 5 times and sent 2 emails. First, I want a refund for the reservation I completed. This is not hard to complete, but I feel that the manager of the garage H. Zeratsion, refuses to assist. He has his money and that is all he cares about. Now he wants me to pay every day. So I am basically being double charged. And to top it all off...I DO NOT GET RECEIPTS. I NEED THE RECEIPTS SO I CAN RECONILE MY COMPANY CREDIT CARD BILL. Answer your emails and fix the process. read more

How is there no ability to come and go if you have already paid the daily max? This does not make sense, especially for employees who park here for work. read more

I know the other reviewers tried to warn me, but, who leaves a review on a parking garage? I mean, there is nothing to mess up! That is what I thought... I had reserved a spot ahead of time and just had to scan my QR code to enter the garage, but the scanner did not recognize my code and kept displaying "access denied." After a dozen of attempts and nobody on the other end of the help button, I took a ticket to enter the garage. We stop at the National Aquarium, who recognizes this garage as a "partner". We are assured that there is SOMEONE working at the garage at all times, and we could get assistance with validating our ticket. When we return to the garage, I check the second floor and each security booth at ground-level entrances to no success. There phone number on my ticket goes straight to voicemail with no help. So, I'll just pay for the ticket. I will happily pay double just to get out of this garag....wait......what?! The payment-kiosk in the lobby AND the gate say my ticket is "unreadable." Now I am unable to pay, unable to reach any assistance, and actually TRAPPED inside of the garage. If you do not care enough to have updated reliable machines, then you should at least have someone on sight, or a phone number that actually works. Establishments like the aquarium should NOT recognize this garage in any way. Congrats to LAZ (catchy name that you are earnin'!!!) Your level of incompetence is genuinely impressive!!! I know that they don't care, but would LAZ even know if I was still trapped in the garage???? read more

Wow Christine at the Redwood garage in Baltimore is awesome. She answers the emails and phone calls and gives fast reliable responses. When you need something done---it's The Redwood. That was the best customer service and she fixed whatever was incorrect (that was done by their office) without complaint. When billing and accuracy and civility is demonstrated - You have me as a customer. None of us are perfect but when you see competent people like Christine you know you can trust your judgement of character. She is a true asset to that garage. The people she has in the office are the best too. So polite. That matters to me! read more

Poor very poor Management at Calvert St Location will never park their again. Had to attend Jury Duty on Jan 26, 2024 however their was an emergency situation with underground fire that was report for that reason business couldn't open. However went back to my car entered parking facilities at 7:46 am n returned by 8:30 am proceeded to exit the location n I had to pay $12. But the sign clearly says when coming in location 0-2 hrs cost is $8. Even if I entered parking lot doing early bird special arrive before 9 n exit by 6pm is $12. I still should not be charged $12. It's not so much of the cost I'm not seeing no Accountability from the management when I had to speak with him through his operator who related message to me after she spoke with him. N then after that n tried reaching out on the number that was posted on sign that was posted prior entry into location no one is their on the receiving end to talk a call. All the way round from beginning to end their was no qualified representative to really give an educated response other then pay $12. Unprofessional at the highest level . read more

I'd love to give 0 stars! garage at Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor is an absolute ripoff, won't refund the money they overcharged me, employees are lazy and rude. Got stuck in the garage for over an hour when trying to leave along with everyone else attending the convention I was at because gates were broke. My friend had to walk to the main gate 2 levels up to find it the problem and literally tell all the employees what to do to fix the problem! They were all sitting in the office, making no effort to do anything, and rolled their eyes when she demanded they get their coats on and get outside and help get everyone out!!! read more

I am currently sitting at the Center Street location waiting for an assistant to answer my call since the last one put me on hold and never came back. The sign outside advertises $7.00 and they are trying to charge me 15 to exit. This is after I had to walk up the unsafe driving lane because another agent couldn't open the door when I left my ticket in the car. Update: I did get a hold of someone, finally, and they ended up letting me out for free after taking my name and ticket number. Get it together Laz! read more

We have been stuck on the 4th floor for over an hour, waiting in line to leave. The automatic gates stopped working and can't be opened. The emergency gates can't be opened either. We are currently waiting for the police to let us out. read more

Whatever you do, do not park here. They allow you to use your SpotHero reservation to enter the garage, but then it does not work to leave. They bully you and threaten to call the police until you pay them directly, which means you end up paying double for parking. Despite multiple people having this exact issue, they refuse to acknowledge it or fix it because they are happy to get the price of two for every one car that uses SpotHero at this location. I hope you are disgusted with your unethical business practices and how you treat people simply trying to park in this city. You are bad for Baltimore. read more

Worst ever. Horrible customer service, useless security, and overpriced. Also, your rates are only prorated after the 15th of the month. So you pay full price for the month if you book prior to the 15th of the current month. Do NOT recommend. read more

I normally don't write reviews, but I spent 5 days (had to pay in total 97 for those days) going to the office after paying $175/month for the parking fob and didn't receive it, and all employees were lost. No assistance and no help. read more

If I could rate this a -12 I would DO NOT PARK HERE!! Parked here using the aquarium website for a "discount" paid $19 upon exit at the pay kiosk, could not find our car, changed our babies diapers after 3 hours in the aquarium and got them situated for a 1 hour drive home (1 year olds) Went to leave, was RECHARGED $14 for that 27 minutes it took us to find our car and change our babies... A FULL DAY ISNT EVEN $33 for 24hours, I explained the situation to the attendant "Donna" who was rude to begin with and could have easily understood the situation. Credit card wouldn't swipe, Donna still incredibly rude. Donna then threatens to "beat my ass upon leaving" due to obvious frustration. Insanely unethical, how can the aquarium encourage young families to park here when they're being charged double the price!! I would have gladly paid the difference (of $5) for 20 more minutes but instead was charged like I left the garage and came back in. So beyond disappointed in the lack of service. read more

exceedingly expensive, no rate flexibility, no response when I called number, and no clear signage. just a rip off.

They stole my money!!!! They moved garages after taking my money for the month and now after months of fighting wont give me the money they owe! Hundreds of dollars! They even sent me documentation showing they owe me yet refuse to pay! Use ANY OTHER garage! Do not use ANY garage LAZ owns they just steal from you! And the staff is extremely unhelpful. read more

The funny thing about writing a bad review for this horrible company is that they will never see it! They pay no attention to detail which is evident by their staffing, conduct, lack of customer service, and overall piss poor operation. I dare you to go to the inner harbor and pull up to their valet. Their employees will be on their phones, joking around with each other, or walking down the street casually to retrieve a car from the garage. My friends and I used their services over the weekend and it took 40 minutes to get our cars from them. Even though we all used their texting service to expedite the wait (15 minutes before I arrived to get my car). I understand waiting due to the high volume but 40 minutes is a long time. I spoke with their manager Tim Heath and he told me, "We are busy, and that's just the way it is when we are busy." He's a joke! By his response, you can tell that he either wasn't trained, or he's just collecting a paycheck. Don't take my word for it, look at every other review. This company only cares about money. They are a cash machine with no soul! read more

Charged me for two days of parking when I only parked for one day! I arrived just a few minutes before 6am and left 8pm that same evening. They said the daily parking starts at 6am. So if you arrive at 5:59am, you are charged for an entire day for that one minute! They refused to do anything about it despite far exceeding their posted daily rate. Basically, had to pay the fee to get my car out and disputed the charge through my cc company. Avoid parking here if you can! read more
