This salon nickels and dimes their customers. They raise prices without providing advance notice and will charge you just for using your debit card (again, without any notice). On my last visit my stylist did an OK job. After coloring my hair she proclaimed that the color did not turn out how she wanted to. OK, then why am I paying you for it? And then she cut my hair all pretty much the same length, no layers. Ended up with a $300 bill for a color I did not request and a beauty school haircut. I would not return nor would i recommend this salon to others. From what I can tell, they are struggling and won't be in business much longer. read more

I've always been hesitant to go to the salon because many times, when I ask for a trim, I end up getting shorter hair than I would like. But now I think I've found my forever salon and definitely plan on scheduling regular appointments with Lexus. Lexus was absolutely amazing! From the initial cut consultation, to the hair wash and actual cut, every step of the treatment process felt specially curated for my relaxation and enjoyment. The wash/head massage deserves a special shout-out because it felt so good! Lexus helped me decide on long layers with curtain bangs, and did a phenomenal job. She taught me how to style my hair and told me to let her know at any time, things that I like and dislike about my hair so that she can work on it in our next appointment. Very helpful spot, high end interior, knowledgeable staff, super friendly. As a guy with curlier hair, it's tough to find a spot that knows how to handle it. Thanks to Carina's expertise and guidance, I feel it's in good hands. Melissa helped me check in and out and was very hospitable. They tend to push R&Co products a lot. They do use them to style you after every cut so you can see it in action, therefore it doesn't feel like they are selling you a fake product. Brittney greeted me and did the check in process, then I got my hair service done with Taylor- she's great, especially with blonde hair. The products they use here are vegan and smell great, forgot the name of the line, though. I liked the personalized service at Layla, and my hair looks great. Their prices are a bit higher than I was expecting but there is a first-time client discount of 10%. Layla is more than a salon though, they're very involved in the community with local events, fundraisers, and charities, such as St. Baldricks. My 14 year old non-binary child really wanted a masculine of center, short but not a pixie, cut. We had tried a number of salons, and they never left the appointment loving their hair. I showed a picture of my self how I liked my hair done, was never done like this. I went to this p and finally lace because she is using Paul Mitchel products, never shampoo my hair with Paul Mitchel, and for 3months was trying to convince me to use an Italian product which she never shared with me the name of it. Damaged my hair, but Tsigane refused to take responsibility. She is talking down to me she offended me, and she was trying to charge me extra for changing the day which was not true, I was to be about 10 minutes late and they said no because are busy if I can come next day . Coming from someone who's been getting their hair done for 20ish years, this was by far the best salon experience I've ever had. As you may know, dying your hair can be a lengthy process, so I brought a friend along for the ride and upon entering, we were both immediately greeted and offered the choice of something to drink. Marina was my stylist, per request, and she made sure to ask questions and check in throughout the entire process to ensure I was getting exactly the look I had in mind which I really appreciated. I was able to feel like I could trust her to go in the right direction when I was feeling a bit indecisive, and loved the level of transparency and communication during the process (i.e. in regards to old color effects, the cut vs how much styling it would require, future products I should aquire for maintenance, etc). I also got a conditioning treatment which was my favorite part and left my hair so soft, and the weight she removed from my hair during the cut has made such a difference. The products recommended have helped maintain my color and I was even given a personalized color conditioner for a home refresh between salon visits. I happened to go in during one of their small business Social events, so I got the benefit of not only exclusive discounts but some delicious goodies as well during my service. I also have to mention that I was checked in with by not only Marina but other employees to make sure I was good and whether I needed anything which was so considerate. Overall 1000/10 experience, my hair is exactly as I wanted, and Marina's stuck with me forever as I won't be going anywhere else from now on. ‍ read more
