I'm the end I told them what day my children's last day would be and they told me my children's last day would be that day. They kicked my children out of the daycare basically all because I called them out on not giving me the whole story. They put words in my mouth as well.

My daughter fell in love w Miss Whitney, she is by far an amazing teacher and my daughter loved to go to her class, she was heartbroken when I took them out. One day i go PU my kids, my son comes out of the second set of doors from the gym grabbing his face w an expression of excruciating pain, he can hardly cry or talk. I see the woman who is supposed to be taking care of them by the first set of doors. She just looks at him, gives me no explanation as to what happened. My daughter then comes out frantic saying they were trying to beat her brother up. Not one word from the lady. I have to go to the office and demand to know wth is going on. By this time my sons cheek is swelling up and a bruise is forming. My daughter has a red mark on her back. The Director is there she heads to the gym, I go meet her a few minutes later, she is talking to the woman In charge of taking care of the kids. She starts saying my kids started it and that one boy and my son are always into it and she's had to seperate them before. Not once was I informed of this. She says my son kicked the boy and his siblings got into it and that's what happened. There are no details besides that, she doesn't even tell me who punched my kid. I ask my kids what happened, both kids tell me the same story, the kid my son kicked was in his face w his fist up and threatening to hit him, therefore he kicked him. His siblings which are older start throwing basketballs at him, and other kids join in, somehow most of the kids are against my son and some girl punches him right on his cheek bone. Of course neither of the women know this because obviously the person in charge was not really watching them. I go in the next day to drop off my daughter, the Director is walking in, I try to tell her how I'm upset and that I'm more upset at the fact that her employee did not intervene when this was happening. Her excuse was :"maybe she was fed up" ..can you imagine that!! Why would you work at a daycare if you have no patience w kids or "she was afraid of getting hit" those were her excuses as to why my kids got hurt. I could not believe that's what she told me!! I told her I didn't feel my kids would be safe. She ended up telling me to have a good day and walked inside. I was livid, never in my life have I heard of such excuses!! I took my daughter out and asked for a refund since I had paid a week in advance. I took my kids to a different daycare and I've had no issues w my kids there. I have always told my son to stick up4 himself if someone is picking on him, but all this could've been avoided if the director had placed a responsible adult 2 watch the kids. The worst experience ever!

Horrible experience. My one year old son was hit multiple times in the face and chest by his…read moreclassroom teacher, Zulma Santiago. Even though this incident was substantiated by the Lawton Police Dept. and Oklahoma DHS, the decision to fire her was still left up to the director, Linda Manuel. Linda made numerous excuses for Zulma, even after her own admission, video evidence and another teacher reporting the incident to myself and authorities. Per the DHS caseworker, most facilities would've terminated her immediately but Linda and Zulma have a long work history together so Linda didn't believe ending her employment was necessary. When I tried discussing the situation with Linda, she was dismissive and condescending - told me to file a complaint. After taking my son for over a year, I'm extremely disappointed with how we were treated. This place will continuously boast about their many years of experience but that should never negate the fact that they chose to keep a teacher who is incompetent, short tempered and shouldn't be left around small children.
