Just had to fire them! Weed spraying was random and not satisfactory. Customer service is horrible. Ripped me off for $100. They do not respond and when they do, they offer to come out a week later and re-spray only to have to call the again to get them to re-spray again. They are not concerned with getting it right the first time as long as they can promise to come back and spray again. Absolutely terrible! This company is one I would recommend staying home to watch to ensure they actually properly do the job. I received a bill for $119 for weed control and they didn't even spray any weeds. I notified them of my concerns and yet nothing was done. I canceled their service, and they are not welcome back. I had 2 of my friends cancel them as well after I told them the issue. Our HOA president was made aware and hopefully no one in the neighborhood uses these guys. I switched to a competitor of theirs. Half the price and does a much better job. He surveyed my property, provided excellent advice, and quickly came up with a comprehensive proposal for my property explaining exactly what work would be done. It was evident that his knowledge of lawn care and pest control gave me what I was looking for. The experience I had was excellent from start to finish. Marshall was very professional and I immediately felt comfortable with the non-pressure approach, friendliness and ease of conversation. I love not having to worry about anything and they are very reasonably priced. I am glad I chose the Lawn Doctor of Columbus and I highly recommend this company. Good product, HORRIBLE customer service. I spoke with Marshall through several emails to confirm services provided to include call backs between scheduled services. He told me they were free. Point blank free. The invoice says they are free. When I got billed for a flower bed call back, I called and spoke with Katrina who informed me if it's after 3 weeks you have to pay for a service. I informed her of the email and what the invoice says, she stated "it seems we are arguing about p'a and q's, I'll waive it this one time but just know going forward it's 3 weeks or you're charged". Very misleading after the communication I had with the owner and what the invoice says. No where when I signed up did it say "you must call back before 3 weeks or else you're charged" services are average of 6-8 weeks apart. Just be warned. read more

Didn't know that bait and switch still existed!!!!!! I spoke with Marshall and had him come out for spot on my yard that turned out to be chinch bugs that he agreed, in writing, to treat the area for 40.00. I agreed and was put on his schedule for the following week. While at the doctor I received a message from him saying he was on his way to my home to treat for weeds and fertilizing! I said NO!! We didn't agree on that service. I had spoken to him about doing that at a LATER date IF I wasn't going to sell my home. At the original meeting he agreed. The next message I got was that he wasn't going to make it till weeks later to treat the spot and if I had any issues to call the office. I did and spoke with his "secretary" who said that is how they do business!!! I am a senior citizen and if he thinks he is going to pull this over on me HE IS WRONG!!! SHAME ON YOU FOR BEING A SCHIESTER!!!!!!!! BEWARE!!! Look at his reviews......this kind of seems to be common practice for Marshall!! read more
