I was the beneficiary of my…read morefathers estate and he left his bookkeeper as trustee (she knew his finances and would have been able to speedily close the books) as she was also his sister. Tillem & Assoc. prepared the trust for my father after doctors told him he did not defeat cancer and had a short time. My father paid him with firearms. There was never a name transfer. So this attorney has guns in a dead mans name. After my father passed, this law firm was paid over $20k from the trust, by the trustee, to help guide her to take as much money as legally possible from my fathers estate. They drug this trust battle out for over two years, submitting phony hours for "trust work" (I.e. 8 hrs / week vacuuming a 1000 sq ft house) @ $45/hour. The trustee was able to pay herself over $50k per year (that's practically a full time job) until there was almost nothing left in the trust account. At that time, they speedily closed the books with only a few thousand dollars left. Unfortunately, I did not have the money to afford an attorney that could contend with their financial backing (my fathers estate). I could not access any funds from the estate until "trust matters were settled". Trust law is very weak, and I tried multiple times to have the trustee removed. My attorney knew I didn't have the funds to go to trial, so he did as little as possible for me. I still have all the documents to back this up. If you're looking for an honest attorney (I think that's an oxymoron), good luck, but, definitely don't go here.
