At this point I had to ask her what was causing her annoyance. She explained rudely that she has a lot of info and not enough time. I told her she was terribly unprofessional and rude and we were never going to be able to establish a relationship with her and we left. Unfortunately I don't have the time to go into exact details of how this all went down but it was much worse then It sounds because I would have delt with a bitchy person but she was a monster. Don't waist your time with this place. This Dr does not deserve to treat your child. I had to explain to my son that he was going to have to deal with people like her in life and not to ever let anyone to treat you like that.

My experiences with Keystone house have been the exact opposite of these other sober house Keystone is a nourishing environment geared towards recovery with with a sober culture that is very adaptable and welcoming to new comers. The owner Jennifer B. is very passionate about recovery herself and does a great job at looking at a person's lifestyle holistically in order to better suit their needs related to building long lasting sustainable recovery. Also the people Jennifer hires to work at the house are in long term recovery themselves and act not only as house managers/care coordinators, but also sober companions which plays an integral role in the culture of the house. **Turnbridge saved my daughter**…read more My daughter was at Turnbridge for just under two months. Before she went there she was beginning to head down the wrong path. So we decided this program was what she needed to get back on track. In the beginning it was very hard for her to adjust to being there. She kept calling and was crying and said she wants to come home and made promises to change. Myself and my family and her mother encouraged her to hang in there and to try and block out the negativity. She tried to manipulate and come up with statements that weren't necessarily true. She ended up getting a new counselor/clinician quickly and got to work with Alissa. It took her almost a month to get fully adjusted and accept that she needed to really work on what she said she originally went there for which was substance use and also mental health. We began to notice that as time went on she wasn't asking to come home anymore when she made her calls to us each night. Her mood slowly started to improve. She became invested in bettering herself and did the assignments that were asked of her. Both myself and her mom participated in family therapy sessions and we began to notice that she was starting to put the work in to better herself. In addition, she was also learning about herself and how she is around other people. We got word that the treatment team wanted to do neurological testing to get some answers on some behavioral concerns they observed. The results of the neurological testing were a game changer! They showed that my daughter has Autism, which looking back explained a lot about her behavior, but because she masked her symptoms and feelings we couldn't tell for sure. She was accepting of this diagnosis. And now we can figure out how to best support her going forward. My daughter graduated and successfully completed Turnbridge Residential in Woodbury, CT on 9/12/25. Words can't expressed how thankful my family and my ex (her mom) are that she went to Turnbridge. It was rough in the beginning, but she made it through. My parents and my ex (her mom) and their family noticed during the visits how much my daughter has grown and changed for the better. Parents realize that the key for success if they send their child there is for the individual to put the time and effort in and that will bring success. My daughter learned that a lot of the things she was saying about Turnbridge and what was going on were things she was building up in her own mind. Special special thanks and shoutouts go to Justin and Alissa!!! They were and are amazing and caring and wanted my daughter to succeed!!! They helped my daughter so much and gave her skills she can use in the future!!! Thanks to Chelsea for your support as well with everything! Thank you Dr. Minhas, Tammy Platt and Dr. Colwell!! Both Justin and Alissa expressed how proud they are of my daughter with how successful she was while in the program.
