A wide variety of flavors, and the pieces are cut small, so a pound box gets you eight different flavors. While they don't offer samples, the price is low enough that it feels okay taking the risk, and we were very happy with all of the flavors - with Snickers, Chocolate Raspberry, Cherry Vanilla, and Oreo being the standouts! read more

Pretty good fudge! Most of the prices are decent but some are not. They repackaged maybe 2 dollars worth of werthers into a box and priced it at 9 . However, the chocolates that they make in there are pretty good. The raspberry filled one tasted like real raspberries. The Irish potato's is a coconut and cinnamon pastry thing. DELICIOUS! the taffy is something I'm not a fan of however. I'd definitely come here again. You can buy buy the box or individually. The chocolate covered marshmallows aren't bad either. Decent variety of pieces :) read more

We stumbled upon this place while driving around town just checking things out. We hopped out of the car into the rain to see what they had.... The man and lady working there were very nice and friendly. There were so many flavor options to choose from. I wanted to try to so many of them! But we decided on chocolate with marshmallows, chocolate with nuts and strawberry. The best of the 3 was the marshmallow one, my son agreed. They also sell several different chocolate covered fruits but most of them were sold out which was a bummer. read more

Had to stop at my favorite candy shop in Wildwood while visiting for Mack's opening day last weekend. Delicious fudge, pretzels, buttercreams. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They had gluten free options as well as sugar free. We also paid $10 to use their parking lot in the back for the few hours we were visiting. Always a great experience here. An absolute MUST when in the area for our family. read more

Laura's Fudge - Milk chocolate buttercreams and a milk chocolate pretzel. - Candy Stores Near Me - Wildwood, New Jersey

I've been coming to Laura's with my family for nearly 50 years. Today will be my last visit. It's not because the candy has changed -- it's because the store has chosen to prioritize harassment of customers over reasonable parking enforcement. We parked in the free 15-minute parking. My wife went inside to get our chocolates while I briefly ran to Douglas to pick up my father a molasses paddle. I returned, purchased salt water taffy from Laura's, and met my family as they were finishing their order. Total time parked: 8 minutes. As we walked to our car, a parking lot employee confronted us, demanding payment because I had briefly gone to Douglas. This did not cause the store any loss in revenue, nor did we exceed the time limit. When I called his supervisor to explain, I was met with a condescending lecture about how people "take advantage" of their parking. I reminded him of our decades of patronage and that we were well within the posted time. He simply did not care. Laura's needs to decide whether they want to keep long-time loyal customers or enforce their 15-minute policy in a way that alienates them. Today, they lost ours. That's on their parking manager, not on the people who have supported them for generations. read more

Laura's Fudge - Laura's Fudge 8/9 - our final visit - Candy Stores Near Me - Wildwood, New Jersey

We were coming off the boardwalk and stopped in to pick up fudge. Sadly I wish we went somewhere else! The store seemed to be run very unprofessionally with little kids working behind the counter. There was a long line of people but they were sort of selectively picking who they were going to help next, based on people they knew... When we finally ordered we got: maple, vanilla and a vanilla with caramel. We have no idea which was which! They all looked and tasted exactly the same; very disappointing! I was really hoping for a Lucious vanilla and we got nothing that tasted like vanilla. read more

I will say I absolutely loved it when we were down in Wildwood. It's the best fudge and chocolate covered strawberries. I took my service dog in and they were very nice and kind had no problems. Definitely would get more again. read more

The fudge is amazing. It's so fresh. My favorites are the maple walnut and the vanilla. It melts in your mouth. It was only $12.95 per pound and that gives you 8 big chunks. Much cheaper than directly on the boardwalk. It's a family owned business and we're happy to support them and their fabulous business. read more

Great local spot set off the boardwalk. Saw the bright lights and knew we had to go in and give it a try. Cheap prices for a pound of fudge and friendly and helpful employees. I got the Dubai chocolate fudge which was delicious and made well. Overall, very good fudge shop near the boardwalk. read more

Very disappointing fudge it tasted. old and was half way crystallized.I have never received fudge like this before from lauras fudge it was always fresh and creamy this tasted like eating crystallized sugar. The chocolates were still good why I gave it 3 stars but I will not be buying their fudge again it was that bad. read more

We have been getting Laura's fudge multiple times a year for the past 20 years whenever we visit Wildwood. This year after our vacation we had a craving and decided to order it online. When we received it the chocolate was completely melted into a puddle in the packaging. There was absolutely no attempt to keep it cool during shipping. When we called the store to complain a rude employee told us they were not responsible for shipping, there was a disclaimer on their website, and their boss would definitely not give any form of refund. I have searched the site everywhere and cannot find any disclaimer about shipping. In my opinion their customer service is pathetic, we will definitely never buy anything from Laura's again. Good riddance. Douglas here we come. read more

Such a cute store right off the boardwalk. The fudge was very fresh and very tasty. I also love that you can choose your flavors of salt water taffy - fill your own bag. The staff at the counter were also very friendly and helpful. Plenty of candy to choose from, too. Check them out when down the shore! read more

Laura's is a staple of Wildwood - with the Pepto Bismol pink walls visible just a few feet off the heart of the Boardwalk. Inside the store, the smell of freshly-made candy wafts through the air. The setup has been the same for decades - a center island with various taffy flavors, a long wall of pre-boxed chocolates, a pick your own candy section, and a glass case with more customized morsels. I've dabbled amongst the goodies in every section, and they all are delicious. I will say that although the namesake is fudge, my favorite treats here are the milk chocolate-covered marshmallows and taffy. I think Laura's does an exceptional job with their sweets, but tends to make a bit TOO sweet for my taste. The other thing to mention is that the staff is always friendly and relaxed, representing the Beach life well. Many of the staff have been there for years, so it feels like visiting family each time you make another trip. What a great way to end (or start) a day at the Boards! read more

Best fudge on the island, reasonably priced and they always offer 10% your purchase in the boardwalk bucks coupon books.

We passed this fudge shop for a couple of years in a row opting for a more well known shore fudge (you all know what shops I am referring to). We thought the Vegas like lighted building looked like tourist trap. This year, on a whim, we stopped in & bought some fudge. So glad we did as this is now the family's favorite! Here is why we liked it... - great selection of flavors - clean shop - fudge made on premises - list of specialty flavors never seen elsewhere (ex birthday cake & cinnamon bun - both family pics every visit) - the lot behind store allows 15 minutes free parking for anyone running in to make a Laura's purchase. So do yourself a favor & try a new fudge shop even if you have a shore fudge routine already. You will not be disappointed. Apologies for not attaching more pictures but the fudge got eaten too quickly...lol. read more

COVID19 Quarantine Review (Pick Up) Laura's fudge is open for business during this crazy time and they're taking the necessary steps to protect both staff and visitors. Laura's employees are all wearing masking and gloves. Social distancing "x" marks are placed on the floor to keep customers 6 feet apart while waiting in line. Laura's has all of the typical flavors you'd expect for fudge - cookies and cream, nut filled, marshmallow filled, etc. But they also rotate out unique flavors like birthday cake and white chocolate raspberry. There is a small parking lot that allows for 15 minutes of parking free for Laura's fudge customers. read more

I'm giving two stars because the young women who waiting on me and my 86yo Mom were kind and patient and I tipped well. After Mom and I spent a combined total over $100, We go outside the store where we are greeted by my 63 yo special needs brother who says the kid in the parking lot took/demanded $10 from him. Mark and our nephew went to Mack's pizza while Mom and I went in the candy store. They were much quicker than we were. I talk to the kid who says parking is for Laura's fudge ONLY! I say, we were in Laura's. Yes, but they went to Mack's. So I went in Laura's to get this straightened out. The manager comes out and says it's because of people like me, who take advantage of their kindness, that they had to change their policy. The conversation continued in that manner. It's very sad. We spent a lot of money in a very short span of time. If we had dropped Mark and Andrew off down the street, and then picked them up after, we wouldn't have been charged. But THAT makes me feel like we are being sneaky and taking advantage. From now on, we just won't park or shop at Laura's. read more

We started going to Laura's a few years ago on Easter bc it's one of the few places open. I used to work for Fannie May years ago and am a bit of chocolate snob. We got hooked on the milk chocolate almond bark a few years back and it never disappoints. Yesterday. I went with the milk chocolate butttercreams and wasn't expecting much but they were as close to Fannie May buttercreams as I ever had and I'm sorry we didn't get more. The staff was so nice and the specialty chocolates they have are beautiful. We will definitely get back before Memorial Day! read more

Nothing better than fudge when you're at the shore! Laura's has been around as long as I remember. It's my favorite out of all. There's locations in Wildwood and Ocean City. The Wildwood location is a large store right off the boardwalk lit up by a big neon sign. The store is bright and spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful. While the fudge is the star, there's also lots of chocolate candy to buy by the piece or pound as well as novelty candy. The chocolate covered pretzels are one of my faves! The pretzel is enrobed in dark delicious chocolate for a salty, sweet sensation. The fudge is creamy and chocolate with just the right consistency. The vanilla is also delicious. If you choose to get it with the nuts, the nuts are soft and add another flavor dimension. The Best Buy is 2lbs for $19.89 or 4 lbs for $38. It makes a great souvenir or gift! read more

I've been coming here for decades since I was a child and we lived in Wildwood for months at a time. Decided to try the fudge like when I was a child, the small sample box which was $5.00 with 4 sample, was good but not real fresh, I should have gotten fresh fudge. We also got a box of vanilla Carmela which was $11.25, the box wasn't full and only contained 12 of them. The Carmel's were good but not great, not a lot of flavor, boring Carmel. I like this place but felt a little underwhelming. read more

There are so many Fudge stores on or off the boardwalk in wildwood, and with so many and all the deals with buy 1lb get the 2nd free. No where will ever be as good as Laura's Fudge.. This is my last stop always before heading home. Stocking up on fudge, the chocolate covered strawberries, salt water taffy. and other candy's, I find that the fudge is so nice and rich. And do get alot in 1LB and they even have sugar free candy's as well. And the salt water taffy are good. It's great to give a box as a gift. And if you download boardwalk bucks app, off Apple or Android can get 10% off your order. I like when you walk in it just spells so good. The staff is freindly. And they always make you feel welcomed. I like. that they have a side parking lot. Don't ever let anyone tell you different. Laura's Fudge will always be the best in wildwood when it comes to fudge.. read more

There are at least 4 fudge/candy stores in the area, but i went to Laura's based on a friend's recommendation. I was surprised there wasn't a crowd and there were so many varieties of fudge. There was also special pricing for a pound: I was able to get the chocolate birthday cake, chocolate peanut butter, chocolate chip and maple walnut flavors. They also had some crazy chocolate items like chocolate covered chocolate chip cookies and oatmeal cream pies! I would recommend this spot. read more

I am writing this as I am eating a piece of Laura's Maple Fudge. We love going here when we are at Wildwood. Laura's is a Wildwood Institution! Other fudge stores come & go but Laura's is always there, reliable & will ship all across the country!

So as we're walking down the boardwalk with every choice of fudge place you can imagine, I can't help but notice this place. It just looks like a place from the outside that you want to get fudge from. The look draws you in. OK, maybe it just draws me in. I got a kick out of the exterior. We got a good sampling of the fudge and found it to be perfect. Our friends who sampled the fudge throughout our weekend trip with us also raved about it. They just make the perfect piece of fudge, both in texture and flavor. And while I was here, I ran into the chocolate covered bacon. A friend raved about this after his last trip here, and I believe this is the place he got it. Curiosity got the better of me and I tried a piece. Here's what I noticed. I will now say that I consider chocolate covered bacon too much of a good thing. Being a bacon lover, and being a chocolate lover, I will say the two flavors were ok together, but they don't seem to truly belong together. Plus, with the bacon being covered, you lose the bacon crispiness that really makes bacon good. I was not a fan necessarily. But I will also say that I noticed that the chocolate that covered the bacon was really damn good. If I had the chocolate solo, it would be some pretty special chocolate. They get 5 stars because they do what they do really well, and they did have fantastic customer service. read more

Honestly, there are no BAD fudge shops at the South Jersey shore towns. But after 45 years of eating them all I agree with all previous reviewers. LAURA's is hands down the best. And it's not just fudge. All the candy is great too. My favorite: Chocolate covered pretzels. read more

I thought the chocolate covered fruit was amazing but the fudge was just okay. I think the fudge kitchen is better.

A memory from childhood. Still just as delicious. Went to the store in Wildwood and they had many choices even though it's off season

Went in there and was not greeted at all and was starred at the whole time there was no music just dead silence. And get this NO FUDGE. It was May so maybe idk they just weren't making it yet? But they were open and they are a fudge shop? Literally the only thing In there was over priced box candy. It was a very weird awkward experience walked out within 2 minutes. read more

One of my Wildwood favorites. Delicious candy in both sugar and sugar-free varieties. I miss their spot on the Boardwalk, but this location - their main store where everything is made - is just steps away (right near the northern Mack's Pizza location). You really can't go wrong. Just be ready for a busy place if you stop in during the evening hours. read more

Hands down Laura's fudge is one of the best made. Anyone who comes to Wildwood is told by the friends and family to pick them up some Laura's fudge. Call me crazy but for years I wad eating was the vanilla because it's incredible. I'm not a big fan of chocolate but I did try something I have to say it was delicious. I also had the rocky road and chocolate marshmallow both were so good words can not do it justice. Really people come on and try it you will love it.
